tuesday it rained so we stayed inside doing games and crafts and reading. then trevor had soccer but it quit raining for his game. he scored his first goal and got to play goalie and had fun! tova came with and did really good during the game!
wednesday i left after lunch to head up to mom's house. i stopped in river falls at 2 thrift stores and drove through the college campus which looks very different than when i went there. then i went to mom's and read in the piece and quiet until it was time to meet my softball ladies for a dinner get together at kim's house. it was fun and we ordered delicious food! i left there about 830 and headed to axel's where my cousin maren was bartending and my brother was there with the girl he's been dating. i ended up hanging out with maren even after the restaurant closed and then went back to mom's to sleep.
i was up early the next morning and pulled the boat home. once home, Al put the boat in the garage then we went garage saling. trevor had a soccer game again at 645 and Al and Tova came along.
friday i had cam, chloe and carsyn here for the morning since jodi started volleyball camps and matt was working. we had fun but carsyn cried for a bit and clung to chloe; she's a homebody and growing up during covid she's not used to being away from matt or jodi. but she warmed up and we had a good morning and lunch.
saturday morning after a slow, relaxing start we went over to trevor's school bestie, Liam's house to play and picked raspberries that line their long driveway. it was fun and the kids played well. we came home for nap, then ran to the grocery store quick, then went back to cassie, liam and elliot's house for supper, a fire, play time, and to have the raspberries we picked over vanilla ice cream. it was a good night!
sunday morning, the kids and i ran our cans up to trevor's school, recycled the plastic bags, and returned our library books before going to camdyn's baseball game.
monday started our busy couple of weeks. we had graham here 830-4 since jodi's got camp for 2 weeks, tova started her first week long camp which was soccer at 10 am (Al stayed home with graham and trevor). tova did great and got right out there running and kicking the ball, was a good listener, and had fun! then trevor had his first karate class at 145 and he really liked that. the kids really enjoyed having graham here; i think they might have overwhelmed him a bit because they both wanted to play with him. Al grilled brats and hot dogs for supper!
