Tuesday it rained all day so we stayed in our pj's, played, crafted, set up trevor's little tent and then ran to get school lunch.
Wednesday Al was off. we all played in trevor's room for a bit then Al took the kids to grandpa peter's house until nap time. during naptime trevor got to video chat with his teacher and 2 of his classmates/friends. he loved it and it's so funny hearing 6 year old boys try to converse. :) wed night matt, Jodi & kids came over for wings.
Thursday morning we went hiking to some county trails in lake Hallie. the trails were really cool and there were 3 fishing ponds that Al wants to fish with trevor. we had lots of fun! after nap we went outside and Al and the kids helped neighbor Jackie clear out some big weeds/roots until supper time when Al got a migraine.
Friday Al was back to work. the kids and I did some school work and crafts and then went for a walk. we stopped at Jodi's to play outside for a bit. then we went to get school lunch. it was back outside after nap.
Saturday my mom came down for the first time since early march! Al came home from work with a migraine at 8 am so we got out of the house so he could sleep. we didn't come back inside again except tova came in for nap, trevor came in for a little bit of quiet time and a game of cribbage with nana. we picked up some free plants (raspberries, irises and gladiolus), came back home, the kids helped Jackie in the dirt again and played with nana while I planted and weeded. after nap time, Al got up and the migraine was gone but the after effects were still there. Al and I ran and got some free river rock to fill in out front. we had pizza for supper, went for a walk with nana, and then she headed home. kids got in the bath and to bed.
sunday morning the kids and I loaded up and went back to the glacier hiking trails in new auburn with matt, Jodi and the kids. it was even more beautiful this time and matt & Jodi & kids loved it too! we did the 2 mile loop this time and saw a deer, garter snake, 2 large snapping turtles, a mallard, lots of sunning turtles and birds. we had a picnic lunch on the very top of the hill with a gorgeous view! then we headed home for a late nap. I had to wake tova up at 430 and we went outside for a bit before supper.
