Tuesday we played around the house and trevor and Al started putting together Al's new grill we got him for his birthday. then we went over to matt & Jodi's for supper; we had cancun and then did a bonfire & smores with the kids. matt and al watched the draft. Carsyn & tova took a bath together again.

Wednesday was earth day. the kids and I checked out a new nature path Jodi had found in our neighborhood area and cleaned up garbage on it. we recycled our plastic bags at the grocery store and came home to make earth crafts. we also tried out school lunch; we went to the middle school near our house to pick it up. it was chicken patty sandwiches, cucumbers, an apple and chocolate milk. we were able to get 2, one for each kid. they also sent breakfast bags but we used those as snacks. the kids loved em and I liked that I didn't hafta think about a meal.

Thursday the kids and I went and bought some used Geronimo stilton books for trevor and they have a spin off series called Thea Stilton ("just like auntie Althea"). trevor was pretty happy to have them all! we then picked up school lunch again and met trevor's friend Liam there so the boys could wave and say hi!

Al was off Friday-Sunday!!! and it was gorgeous out!! Friday we drove up to Hudson and went to willow river state park with the risens. it was the perfect day for hiking and we got to see a really cool water fall! we ended up hiking for 4 miles and the big kids were tired!! we did lunch by the beach and mom came and met us for lunch; the kids were so excited to see her in person; tova would not get off her lap or leave her side. :) the big kids put their feet in the water at the beach and it was freezing! we headed back home about 130 and the only one who napped in our car was Al.... Tova napped once we were home. then we went over to the risen's house for fish dinner.

Saturday we just hang out around home. Al, trevor and grandpa peter went fishing the morning for a bit but again didn't catch anything. Al finished putting his grill together and got it outside and cleaned up the old grill so we can give it away. we played outside all afternoon/evening and went to get ice cream cones as our bedtime snack. after bedtime, we had a zoom call with steph, tim, trina and tyler again but we didn't stay up too late.

sunday we couldn't decide what to do so about 930 we quickly got dressed, packed up and Al took us up to the county forest where there are hiking trails through glacier paths. it was so cool!! so many little ponds and cool trails. tova walked about half a mile at first then she rode; she was pretty happy to get to hike for a bit. on the way back through bloomer we stopped at a green house and got some of the plants I wanted and picked up lunch. during nap/quiet time, I planted the garden! a little earlier this year but the threat of frost looks to be gone. then more outside time before supper and movie night.

Monday it rained in the morning so the kids and I ran some errands and picked up school lunch. before eating it though, we jumped in puddles because the sun came out. after nap time, it was hot! first 70 degree day, so we played outside for a bit but were hot and didn't want to get sun burnt. after supper we went out front so trevor could ride his bike and it was cooling off nicely!
