Tuesday and Wednesday it was cold and we still had snow on the ground so we mostly stayed inside. Al was off wed & thurs. Wednesday trevor and I sewed a little stuffed bear that he'd been wanting to do for a while. Wednesday night matt, Jodi and the kids came over for wing night for Al's birthday dinner. hangar 54 gave us a free huge piece of carrot cake so we had that instead of Al's angel food cake.

Thursday was al's birthday! we went for a nature walk in the morning with matt, Jodi and the kids. after nap we played outside for a bit then had erberts and gerberts sandwiches for supper and had Al's angel food cake for dessert. the kids had fun singing to him. after bedtime, we had a zoom call for al's birthday with shane, Jodi, matt, Jodi, derek, and sarah. it was fun but we stayed on longer than we were gonna considering Al had to work the next morning.

Friday the kids and I went for a walk, did some kids yoga, did a little school work and played.

Saturday was gorgeous out even though it was windy. the kids and I went to big falls park with matt, Jodi and the kids for a nature walk. it was so cool there!! we ended up on a wrong path and had to cut through lots of brush to be back to our cars; the big kids thought it was cool, the little girls in the carriers thought we were crazy, and my ankles got all scratched up. but it was fun! we had lunch in the back of our cars before heading home for nap time. after nap we went outside for a bit until it looked like it was going to rain.

sunday was chilly so we spent the morning inside. after nap, we did a drive by parade with a bunch of people for our friends who just lost their 1.5 year old boy to cancer. it was a large parade with lots of cars; we all had yellow balloons tied to our cars (yellow is the color for kids cancer.) after we drove by and dropped off our card, we all met back at the high school parking lot and released the yellow balloons for Ashton. the wind was blowing perfect so they flew towards their house. once home we played outside for a bit before coming for supper.

Monday Al was off. after breakfast we all loaded up in the car and drove to Osseo to pick up a bunch of 3t summer clothes for Tova (since I can't garage sale, I had no summer clothes for tova.) then we took some back roads up to Augusta and found a public wildlife area where we could walk the trail. it was gorgeous and the kids had fun. tova loved getting to walk although she got tired towards the end. on the way out, we found a turtle on the road so I picked it up, showed the kids and helped it across the road so it didn't get hit. then I called and the brush site was open so during nap time, Al took 2 loads of our bagged leaves there (back of our SUV & the trailer full.) after nap & snack, the kids and I went out front while Al made supper. we saw some rain clouds coming and came inside just in time; it started raining pretty good 1 minute after we came in. then we got some huge winds for about 5 minutes, then sun again. Al and trevor played a bunch of cribbage while Tova and I played and braided her hair.
