this week was cold; we didn't get outside at all. we continued potty training and he's doing good as long as we remember to get him on the potty every hour. he'll once in a while say "i not peeing/pooping" and then I know he has to go, but he doesn't tell us when he has to go. he prefers to have his undies on and asks for them in the morning, and the diapers irritate his hips now. most of the time his diapers after nap and in the morning are dry, so that's good! only a couple accidents this week and they were really only when we forgot to get him on the potty every hour.
Thursday we went to the indoor sports center with Jodi, chloe, kade and baby graham, and Melissa, thaeden and baby Wesley met us there. we then had lunch at Jodi's house.
Al worked Tuesday 3a-5a due to icy roads, regular on Wednesday, then noon to 9pm on Thursday and was off again Friday-Monday.
friday both Al and I worked downstairs going through boxes and donating things, putting together shelves, and organizing. we got the weight room pretty much set up and done, and got through a bunch of stuff in the workshop/storage room. mom brought down a chest freezer for us from her friend lou so we made room for that in the workshop and matt came over after supper to help Al get it downstairs.
Saturday morning as I was getting the chili in the crockpot, mom reminded me it was trevor's first day off swimming lessons. so we hurried and made it to that at 830; it's the same class that he did last year and he pretty much did everything they learn in that class already. steph and lily are taking the class with us again and we found out baby graham and his parents, our friends, Emily and joe were there and in our class too. the water was freezing! then we came home got bathed/showered, ate a little bit then headed out to watch Al throw weight and shot put at the alumni meet. we came home during the shot throwing for nap which was about 3 o'clock.
Al and brohmer came back home after they were done throwing, had some chili and hung out a bit. then I dropped them off at their track party and they stayed out until almost bar close. mom, T and I just hung out at home.
sunday morning we all hung out and got some things done, then had lunch. mom and brohmer left right around nap time, trevor fell asleep right away after pooping on the potty! then at 315 we got Trevor up, packed up and headed over to the neighb's house for the packer game. matt's parents were there too, as well as both Jodi's brother's and kade. the food was delicious and it ended up being a good game, with the packers winning. then home and into bed.
Monday Al was still off so I got my quilt squares sewed, we played outside in the snow before it melts this next week (rain and warmer temps coming), then lunch with Trevor's new plate from auntie molly, books, and nap.
