2017 :: 1/52

This week we started potty training. We had one day without an accident, but only 1 accident a day otherwise, and only 1 poop in his undies. Every morning Trevor asks for his undies on and he'll go just about every time I get him on the potty but still doesn't tell me when he has to go. by the end of the week, I realized I could put him on about every hour and he'd go without accidents. the accidents would happen if I forgot. and then I just had to watch for and be aware of poop. we're doing sticker charts; the first one he picked out the toy he was earning and I printed a picture of it and put it at the end of the sticker chart so he could see what he was working for. he picked out a Rubble toy from paw patrol. he earned that within 3 days. so I made the second one longer and this time he's earning a new game on the phone and some phone time.

we stayed home Monday and Tuesday for the potty training and because we got some snow and slippery roads. Trevor was in undies and a sweatshirt and socks. then Wednesday and Thursday we went to Jodi's house for the morning in undies and pants, and he had no accidents over there and went on the potty!

Tuesday night we went to the neighb's house for pizza supper for Kassie and jake's gender reveal party; they're having a girl!!

then Wednesday night, we had a girls night. Matt watched Trevor with his kids and I drove Jodi. we went to fugi for hibachi which was fabulous! it was Jodi, me, jenny, katrina, and Emily: all moms! then we went to infinity beverages for a drink. it was a great girls night that we hope to have happen more often!

Al had Saturday thru Monday off this week. Saturday we just bummed around the house then had a movie night with popcorn and treats. sunday morning we got up early and drove to the cities; we stopped by mom's quick then off to shane and Jodi's house. we exchanged Christmas gifts for the boys and Trevor and Luke loved playing together again! it's probly the last time we'll see them as a family of 3; Jodi's due January 17th with baby boy #2. we brought lasagna and bars for lunch; after lunch we played for a little bit then we headed back to mom's house. mom had just gotten home, she read books to trevor then we put him down for nap. he napped while I ran to kohls quick and then we watched the packer game at 330. after the game we drove home.

he wrote his name for the first time, all by himself!!
