2015 :: 6/52

trevor: likes to hold 2 toys in one hand, first painting, throws his blankets out of his crib & then cries 'cause he doesn't have them, climbed up on the couch almost on his own (puts his knee up a lot in an attempt to get up on things now), likes to hold his own spoon & fork and eats food off his fork now (when I put it on there for him), bent over to pick up a toy off the floor while standing instead of sitting down to get it, we finally got a couple meals with very little food thrown on the floor (knock on wood; hopefully that phase is over!)

----------------------------------

Al's days off this week were Tuesday and Wednesday. it snowed on Tuesday so we didn't do much and Wednesday we had to go sign our taxes (we're getting back less than last year :( due to me not working but still a good amount since we have Trevor this year). it was super windy on Wednesday so we just did a couple other little errands so that we didn't have to get Trevor out of the car much. we also celebrated valentines day Wednesday since Al has to work. i'm starting to get used to holidays not having to be on the actual day to be special (although Christmas is the hardest).

Thursday, I got my first migraine with the same starting symptoms as Al gets. it was short and luckily Al was awake and able to watch/feed Trevor so I could sleep it off.

on Friday, Trevor and I went up to the cities. we didn't have any real plans but needed a change of pace and Al had to work 12 hours on Saturday (again... they're so short staffed right now). Friday afternoon, my cousin angi and her 20 month old daughter, Ruby came over to play and for dinner. it was fun to see them; love that little Ruby. she's such a girl and trevor is such a boy. :)

T and I went down to shane and Jodi's for a bit on Saturday to see them, Luke and our friends Sarah, derek, & their youngest guy Channing. it was fun to see them all again and see the 3 little boys together. trevor got his Christmas and birthday presents from shane, Jodi & luke: he got a little people fire station (he absolutely loves the fireman and dalmation toy from that, he carries them around all the time), some great board books, and a puzzle.

sunday we ran to ikea with mom to get a few things and man am I not used to a. city crowds and b. shopping on weekends. we do most of our shopping during the week since al's usually off then and there's less people. but ikea wasn't too bad.

Monday we came home. trevor only took one short nap both days up at mom's house so we're trying to get back on schedule.
walking with dada
 he's pretty hardcore :)
 I can't handle these big boy socks on him
 he climbs into the laundry basket every time I do laundry and plays in there for a while :)

 oh, that smile & laugh!!!

 he worked hard (and whined a lot) to get these both in one hand
he loves putting things on tables (or stools in this case)

 my mom, ruby and trevor
 I braided ruby's hair into the cutest French braid pigtails!

 mama bear ruby wanted to hold baby trevor :)
 grama got him a shopping cart for valentine's day;
he loves to stand and put toys in things so he loves it
although he's a bit scared because it's unstable

 lounging while ridding his giraffe bike
 we made a fort that turned into a tunnel
 climbing :)
brought home his kitchen from our storage unit (mom's basement) and I should have done that sooner. he loves putting things in and out of areas, and this kitchen has the fridge/oven, microwave, and sink for him to do that!
