blurry but those legs!
these pictures are getting tricky with mr wiggles :)
trevor: pooped in the tub for the first time, loves to sit on my lap while i'm playing cards and look at the cards, did great with his cousins especially ruby and lia, pulls his head forward in his carseat or when sitting, held himself up better in his jumper: didn't use his arms to prop him up at all, likes to stand on legs

we had on and off rain the rest of the week and lots of wind, but got in some outside time, lots of games especially wizard, lots of family time. trevor didn't sleep very good while at the lake most of the time. he woke up multiple times each night. but it was still a good vacation!
ruby loved him and always pointed at him when he came around her. lia and trevor "played" together a couple of times; they're only 5 weeks apart, but lia is tiny! :) it was fun to see hudson too as that'll be around the age trevor will be at the lake next year. plus we'll have 2 more babies: maren's and caddie's! trevor was held by lots of people and they all agreed he's a great, adorable baby!
mom and i were cribbage partners and got 4th place; we made it pretty far. we played a lot of wizard in our cabin and sneaky mary played almost every time with us! love her (and we've all decided she's super woman!). we played water volleyball twice and the second time was freezing and, unknown to us at the time, a wave of chiggers came through. all of our legs were really itchy, and then most of us were covered in bites.
grama was giving trevor a bath one of the nights and he pooped in the tub for her. :) he's changed to pooping about every 3 or 4 days so i was kind of expecting it, but grama was a bit surprised.
saturday we headed home caravan-ing with mom. we spent a total of just about 8 hours on the road, but again trevor did pretty well. we had to stop multiple times for gas, food and to feed trevor. we also had a small picnic outside at dairy queen. :) we made it home around 4 pm to cleaned up gardens, wasps in the house, kitties that were happy to see us, and a nice clean house. we unpacked, started laundry and then auntie althea arrived returning tator to us! she played with trevor a bit, told us stories of tator with her and grandpa peter, and then took off back to wausau.
we were exhausted and trevor finally slept well saturday night. i gave him gripe water twice since he's been so gassy, to see if that would help him sleep. hard to say if it was that, being tired from vacation, being in his own bed, or coincedence that made him sleep better.
thankfully al took sunday off so we could get back into the swing of things a bit; we went grocery shopping and played. monday trevor and i went to mom's for softball and came home tuesday morning. tuesday, when i was practicing our pulling trevor up off his back by his hands so that he'll hold up his head, he pulled himself all the way to his feet. he also sat on the floor inbetween my legs without me holding him up, and sat there for a while! we'll be doing that more often now because it helps trevor strengthen his core and helps me work on my posture!
little lia and trevor
he liked talking to her :)
ruby, angi and great-grama
ruby wanted to play too :) she loves babies
lia and trevor reaching for the same rattle :]
uncle tyler thought he fit well under trevor's playmat with him
this is the sight we saw often;
storms and rain coming across the lake.
picnic on the ride home
meanwhile, tator was kayaking with auntie althea.
although he jumped out of the kayak and tried to swim to shore.
althea reports that he's not a very good swimmer.
he also chewed through his leash.
and hiking.
holding himself up in his jumper

holding his link with both hands and got it in his mouth

Chewed through his leash?? That was not a happy Tator Tot!
I'm so happy you all had a great vacation. I think it is amazing your family gets together every year. The generations of relationships, stories and photos will last for generations.
