wednesday Al was back to work, trevor to school, and tova and i hung out. i woke up with no voice and a bit of a sore throat but not sick. grandpa peter came over to sit with tova while i worked out. that night we got a bad thunderstorm (it was over 50 degrees out that day) which included some tornadoes and really high speed winds. Al got home before the storm hit us but got a migraine. at 830pm, matt called and told me we were gonna get a tornado warning siren soon so i got the kids out of bed (trev wasn't sleeping yet) and brought them downstairs. tova snuggled in with Al (they both were already sleeping) and trev and i read our books in the chairs. the storm was through by 930 so i got the kids back to bed. after the storm, the high winds lasted all night long and the next day too (and brought cold temps with it.) i didn't get much sleep between the wind and tova waking up crying a bunch.
thursday we drove trev down to school due to the cold and wind, then tova and i went over to help matt with the daycare kids since jodi was at volleyball convention receiving her award for national assistant coach of the year and getting to watch the badgers in the final 4!! we had a good day and brought kinsley to her bus after lunch before getting tova down for a nap.
Al was off all weekend. we didn't do too much and stayed home all weekend! Al took the kids out saturday morning to shovel the inch or 2 we got overnight and Al did run to the grocery store on sunday but other than that it was hanging out at home. it was so nice! we made treats & muffins, did crafts, kids played lots of their activities, trev got to play video games with dada, we played games, read books, grandpa peter came to visit for a bit, etc.
monday morning Al worked, trev had school, and tova and i went to jodi's for a little christmas party. trevor got to have a parade at school where his class got to walk around and look at the art work the other classes hung in the halls. the christmas party at jodi's was crafts, a christmas snack we made/brought, and a book exchange. after school pickup we had snack then grandpa peter came over while i went to workout. then supper, baths, christmas movie and vikings game!
tuesday it was pajama day at jodi's and we made sugar cookies with the kids. trev had school, Al worked.
