wednesday Al was off work, i walked trevor to school, then went to woodman's, then played with tova then worked out at noon. we did wings with matt, jodi and the kids for supper at their house. we played a game with the big kids before coming home for bed.
Thursday Al was off again, i worked out at noon again, and we watched the vikings game after supper.
friday after we brought trevor to school, tova and i ran a few errands including her favorite, the library. jackie came over to sit with tova while she ate lunch while i worked out. then trevor was early release from school because of a large snow storm on it's way. we got about 12 inches of snow by morning (mom in the cities got close to 20 inches.) once Al got home from work, we all went out and did the first shovel of about 5 inches.
saturday morning Al made it to work just fine even though our road didn't get plowed. after breakfast and a slow morning, the kids and i went out to shovel the rest and play. the neighbor across the street, steve, came over with his snowblower and did half the driveway and the sidewalk for us/me. then we went inside for hot cocoa. after nap, we went out back to shovel and play but it had gotten windy so we didn't stay out as long as we wanted to. Al got home a little late. saturday night tova woke up a few times with a sore throat.
sunday tova had a sore throat and wasn't feeling the greatest but not bad, and no fever. so we didn't do much. after nap, we decided to go outside for a little bit to play and the kids were having so much fun sliding down our little shoveled hills, and the sunset looked so pretty that we decided to head over to north high school to the small sledding hill we love quick before it got dark. it was so pretty and so fun to sled. tova didn't last long before being worn out, but we had fun. trev did his snowboard and his sled.
monday Al was off, i took trevor to school, then i left tova with Al while i worked at jodi's since tova still had a sore throat. trevor had his last class of this round of basketball at 530.
tuesday tova was feeling better so she came with me to jodi's. after school, we went over to matt & jodi's house for spaghetti dinner and then loaded up and went to irvine park for our annual christmas light walk. it was really warm out, almost 40 degrees, and we had fun!
