wednesday Tova had gymnastics at 9, Al had his first ortho appointment at 11.
Thursday was gymnastics for tova again, Al had an MRI at 11 and then a follow up appt for the MRI results at 3, Trevor had soccer at 545p.
Friday we all went up to mom's house. mom watched the kids friday night, while Al and I went to shane and jodi's house for an adults only night to celebrate their new jobs! we had fun playing games and just hanging out.
Saturday morning we went to breakfast at shane's work since it was one of his last shifts, then met mom half way to pick up the kids. Jodi, Al and I headed down to new ulm to pick up Jodi's boys and hang out at the farm for a bit. we finally got to meet jodi's parent's baby goats. kids and Al loved holding them. the kids played a bunch, got a ride in the Papa schmidt's ranger, we picked mulberries and other yummy things from their garden, auntie jodi bought the kids some surprises: football cards for the bigs and stuffies for the littles. we had so much fun. Then we went back to shane and jodi's house for a bit before heading to mom's to sleep.
sunday we headed home.
monday i took the kids to the altoona library and we ended up with a chipmunk in our dryer. we couldn't get him out, so we had to carry the dryer upstairs and outside and eventually he came out. Al also had his inital appt with the surgeon for his elbow that morning. (since it was 4th of July week Al was refered to the only ortho surgeon working that week at mayo, which we hadn't been to before, we usually go to prevea or marshfield, but mayo is great too.)
Tuesday was the 4th of July. we hung out at the house until about 5 when we headed to the new, west location of my gym for a hang out and grill out with lots of our friends. matt, jodi and the kids came along with 2 families we know from the gym, school, and soccer. it was hot, we got some rain, but it was fun! we got a storm right at fireworks time (they moved the eau claire fireworks launch site this year to just over down the river from the new gym location) so we headed out because Tova was tired.
