Wednesday morning, after a quick breakfast we hooked up grandpa peter's trailer to his truck and he left, and we headed up to the como zoo. we stopped at mom's first to pee and she was able to take a half day and come with us to the zoo. we had a great time at the zoo and great weather, then we went to lunch at khan's (my favorite) which is a Mongolian barbeque/hibachi grill. it was just as good as we remembered and trevor even liked it! it was his first time eating there. he loved using the chopsticks. then we dropped nana off and drove home during which Al slept but T didn't. so T took a nap once we were home. after nap, we went over to the neighb's house for supper and pumpkin carving (our annual tradition now). we had snacks, pizza and then carved the pumpkins. Trevor was a little uncertain about sticking his hand/arm in the pumpkin so momma did most of the gutting of his. they had a book of patterns, so the kids each picked a pattern and us parents carved em for them. after a little tv watching we headed home for bed.
Thursday morning T and I mostly relaxed esp once Al left for work at 1020. then about 11 grandpa neil came down. we did a little crafting, then went outside to play croquet and then inside for lunch. Gpa neil read books to trevor, then once he was down for nap, dad and I played cribbage where he skunked me then he left. after nap, T and I walked down to the park for a bit before coming home for some coloring and supper.
Al had Friday off so that he could watch trevor while I went to a no-kids-allowed wedding up in the cities for one of my lifelong friends. after breakfast, Al and T ran some errands while I showered, got ready, and tried on some things to wear. once they got back, they hopped on the riding mower with the leaf sweaper behind it and swept up all our leaves. at lunch time I drove up to the cities, ran a couple errands, then to mom's house to get ready. mom and I left for the wedding (it was her best friend cammie's daughter sarah's wedding) which was a catholic wedding so it was up, down, up, down for an hour. :) it was a beautiful wedding. then we headed to the bar in northeast Minneapolis where the reception was being held and hung out with mom's long time friend's that I know and one of their daughter's ashlee that I grew up with, too. once the upstairs reception area was ready, we went up there, got a table, had some apps, watched the grand march, listened to speeches, had delicious cake (the apps were excellent too), chatted with friends we haven't seen in a long time, danced a little then were back at mom's house by 10pm. I slept good although I kept thinking I had to be quiet when we got back to mom's house cuz a little boy was sleeping. :)
when I woke Saturday morning it was just starting to rain, so I packed up quick and drove home. Al, T and I just relaxed at home until swimming lessons which we all went to. after swimming lessons was lunch and a nap for all of us since Al had to work that night at 7pm. supper and a relaxing, movie watching evening concluded our Saturday.
Sunday T and I ran to the grocery store and joann fabrics then came home for lunch. after lunch we watched the Vikings game for a bit before going over to Jodi's to help get ready for Camdyn's birthday party. his party was from 3-5pm and included some of our friends and cam's friends from school. it was busy and crazy but fun. we hung out for a bit afterwards then came home for a quick supper and T was in bed and out just before 730pm.
Monday morning was a get stuff down around the house morning that flew by; Al worked 11a-730p and then had 6 days off work!
