2016 :: 11/52

Trevor: I checked on his 2 year molars again and he had half a bottom one in already (I don't know if I just missed it last time when he just had a corner of a top one or if it came in that quickly), he now says: Harley (hawey), chancey (wee wee), hi buppy (all the time! he loves dogs), he had peanuts for the first time (although he's had peanut butter for a long time),

Monday night after playing outside and having brats with the neighb's, T and I went up to mom's house. Tuesday morning we went to manda's house again, and painted shamrocks with marshmallows after breakfast. then we dropped Eva off early and then went to the Minnesota zoo with maren and tula (and maren's cousin mandee). we ended up just buying a membership to the zoo because after paying for this trip and one family trip (Al's been wanting to go) it was nearly the same amount of money as a membership, so now we can go for free whenever we want. I hadn't been to this zoo since I was really little (20 years ish?) but maren said they have a great big playground and water park in the summer! it was rainy and cold when we went so we stayed indoors but still had fun. we did the tropical trail, the Minnesota trail and the aquarium section. T loved it and ran/walked most of the time. Elouise and Trevor were both out for naps in 20 minutes.

Wednesday after eva went to school, El, T and I ran a couple errands (dollar store, bank and gas) and then came back and worked on the little crafts they got at the dollar store. mom had dinner made for us when we got there, then I packed up and we headed home to eau Claire. Al was home when we got there!

Al is enjoying his new position as sergeant although it's only been a week, he's not actually on his sergeant shifts yet, and it's been crazy busy with a homicide on his first day as a sergeant. he's had a lot of meetings and training already, but hopefully he continues to like it!

Thursday was st Patrick's day; Al worked 7a-3p and T and I went over to the neighb's to play. Trevor had already had breakfast, but then ate the leftover green cinnamon rolls Jodi had made (he had 2+ of them). the kiddos played inside since it was rainy and chilly again. T plays more and more with the kids instead of just near them. they made fort and played in it, they made markers with Jodi, and ran around. we had lunch over there and then Al was home after nap. we made our goal of not eating out for 3 weeks, so we went out to Chinese at a new place that Al wanted to try.

Friday morning, all 3 of us went to the children's museum. Trevor had so much fun and did and learned even more (he does so each time we go). we even did the parachute time and Trevor followed the directions and had a good time! I let him play in the water stuff more this time since it isn't freezing outside anymore.

early Saturday morning, the 3 of us headed up to the cities for mom's 60th birthday party that afternoon. Tyler and I worked to put it together the last couple months, but it wasn't a surprise party. once we got there, Tyler and I ran a couple last minute errands while mom, Al and Trevor waited for mom's friend Doralee to arrive. we then hung out at mom's until we headed to the bar at 1 (party was 2-5 at obb's). Al stayed with Trevor while he napped and then brought him up once he was awake. we had a great turn out for the party (89 people) and mom had a great time. the food was good, the cake was awesome, and lots of friends and family came out. Al and Trevor were only there for about an hour because nana and unc gave Trevor cake without him eating first, so he was running around crazy. we were out of the reserved space by 5 and a handful of family and friends stayed with us until 730ish. we then went back to mom's house and she went to bed. :) it was a great party!

sunday morning, trevor helped nana open her presents and cards and Al made a cinnamon roll French toast bake for breakfast. we left a bit after breakfast, stopped by cabellas quick and then headed home. Trevor fell asleep right before we got home and Al didn't notice (we try to keep him awake especially when we need to eat lunch still) so he took a nap right away without eating. luckily, he had eaten all of his snack and had all his water. he slept for 3 hours and 40 minutes! after nap we went outside for a bit then went to cancun to eat with the neighb's. we also went over to their house for a bit after supper to watch some of the badger basketball game.

Monday Al worked at 7 am and Trevor and I got stuff done around the house: cleaning, laundry, packing, etc. then we went to the neighb's for a bit and for a craft, and then went outside to play with the kiddos.
