Al had class Mon-Thurs this week so he worked 8-4 which was weird for us and kinda cool to see what it would be like if he worked a regular job. :)
the weather was decent this week, warmer but snowed just about every day and was windy. we got outside a couple times but got cold quick. we went to the neighb's house each morning to play, do a craft and eat lunch.
Wednesday morning, Trevor was brushing his teeth in the bathroom on his step stool while I was getting dressed. he then came in, said "momma," grabbed my finger and pulled me into the bathroom. he pointed to the sink and I saw his red toothbrush in the sink (we've never had a sink plugger, drain thing in that sink since we moved in, the rental company wouldn't give us one). I told him not to put it in there, pulled it out and then looked for his green toothbrush. I didn't see it on the counter so I looked down the drain and there it was, really far down there.
Wednesday morning we ran errands before going to the neighbs: we dropped a package off at the ups store, got gas for $1.12/gallon with the helps of our grocery store points, went to drop our papers off with the tax guy, and then ran to the dollar store for new toothbrushes.
Thursday we played construction 'chines with "rocks" (aka dried beans), then went to the neighb's for some play time, then came home for some crafting.
Saturday morning Trevor and I had our 2nd swimming lessons; he froze the whole time this week! he was so cold, his chin was quivering bad the entire class. he still wouldn't blow bubbles but we worked on floating on tummy and back. he'd lay on his tummy and back but only for a bit before trying to sit up.
then we drove right up to mom's after swimming because I was having lunch and a distillery tour with my friends while mom played with T. we had lunch at whitey's in Stillwater then went to the 45th parallel distillery in new Richmond wi. it was manda, johnny, meg and me. lunch was delicious but SO filling as I had done a clean eating challenge all week long. we all rode together to the distillery and the tour started as soon as we got there. It smelled like alcohol in there and it was making me sick at the beginning. but the tour was informative and entertaining. then we got to sample 8 of the spirits they make there: vodka, 3 types of whiskey, a horseradish vodka, aquavit. and after those we tried their lemon and orange cello which were fantastic!
once we got back to Stillwater after the tour we went to smalley's and had their conch & corn fritters and chips and salsa, all which was fantastic! while there, mom text and said she thought T wasn't feeling well. so on the way home, I stopped and got Tylenol and a thermometer for at mom's house. sure enough, T had a 102.9 fever! he kept the fever the rest of the weekend and still 99.4 on Monday. needless to say, we didn't sleep well either sat or sun night. I had to run and get him some motrin at mom's too because it seemed like the Tylenol wasn't helping the fever. he didn't really have any other symptoms other than a clear runny nose and he was up playing most of the time. wondering if it's those 2 year molars moving? yikes, he's 2 this next week!
it was in the 40s this weekend so we played outside a bit to get some fresh air and maybe help bring the fever down.

dada thought he was going poop so we put him on the toilet.
he didn't want to stay there so we gave him Al's phone :)
