Monday morning before heading home, the kids and I stopped at the big park and splash pad in woodbury. we didn't stay too long but we had fun! once home we did sprinkler and pool in the backyard since it was so hot and humid! Al was off, Trevor had soccer.
Tuesday Trevor had wrestling in the morning and t ball got rained out. trevor and I ran to the library after wrestling and menards after t ball got rained out. al and I did a couple house projects we've been meaning to do.
Wednesday we went to the children's museum with jenny and klare (her other 2 girls were in a music camp) and we had fun! then it was soccer night again.
Thursday the kids and I went up to the cities. first we went to the teddy bear park in Stillwater for the first time and met some friends there: my friend from high school Amanda and her 2 kids Owen and Ava who are T & T's ages and then my friend from softball Manda's sister in law who just moved to Stillwater and her 2 kids Zoey (3) and William (1). it was fun but SO busy and it got hot quick. then we went to nana's house for lunch and nap for Tova; while tova napped, trevor and I went over to see Papa and grandpa neil showed up right at the end, too. once tova was awake, we all and mom went to maren's house for supper. it was a good time and included maren's friend Jenny and her family including 3 more kids. it was a busy, fun day!
Friday morning we headed home since Al had the weekend off. once home, we woke Al up and all went to the northern Wisconsin state fair for a couple hours. it was hot but not too bad and we had fun.
Saturday morning we just got stuff done around the house then after nap we went to a get together with some of Al's co workers in bloomer. it was fun and hot and they had a kiddie pool for tova's age kids and a bigger pool for trevor's age and older. there were a bunch of boys in the big pool and trevor had fun playing with them. we ate supper there and got home about 830p. once tova was in bed, I headed for the cities.
sunday morning I went on our annual girls canoe trip! it was so fun and a great, hot day to be on the river! we only got a little sun burnt this year and spend lots of time in the river! it was meg, Shannon, manda and I again this year. we got back to manda's house, I changed quick and headed right to softball. we played at 6&7 and won both! I didn't hit well until the end of the 2nd game. then back to mom's house for a shower and headed home.
Monday morning jenny, klare, and kourtlyn came to play until they had to pick up kali at noon. trevor had soccer and it was the hottest, most humid day ever!! but tova and I made some new friends while watching. then home to enjoy the air conditioning!
