on Wednesday, all 3 of us headed up to the cities. Al had an open house on Wednesday and an interview on Thursday. Wednesday we carved the pumpkin dad grew for Trevor since we didn't get a chance to carve our pumpkins at home (I wasn't expecting to be in the cities all week/Al's weekend). Trevor had a good time with it! we also put on Trevor's costume so Al could see it on and so we could take some pictures of it. that night we took the explorer over to johnny because it's making a new noise, right when we're trying to sell it... and it's a pretty expensive fix, luckily he said it's ok to drive as is, just annoying.
Thursday we were going to go to the zoo but it was kinda rainy out and trevor ended up not feeling well that morning. when I got him out of the crib, he didn't even want to hold his head up. he sat on me for a long time then when I put him in the chair by himself so I could make breakfast, he threw up all the water he had just chugged. we waited a bit before having breakfast, tried some animal crackers to see if they'd stay down (they did) and eventually we had breakfast. he ate a ton!! and was fine after that, so we figure he was just really hungry (he didn't eat much supper the night before) and had chugged too much water too quickly.
once Al left for his interview and then back to ec, Trevor and I baked some cookies. we took a few over to my papa and dad.
Friday morning, mom, T and I went to como zoo. it was a little chilly but there was hardly anyone there so Trevor could run around easily. he dressed as a giraffe for cuteness factor and for warmth. :) then after nap, we raked and played in the leaves in mom's backyard again.
Saturday was Halloween, we went to a parade in the morning with mom, Jodi & luke, and manda, johhny & their girls. it rained through the whole parade but it was fun and not too cold, and there was hardly anyone there so I parked right by the road the parade was on. luke and trevor sat in the back of my car while we waited for the parade to come. Trevor got a TON of candy! as did all the kids.
then after nap we had an early supper, got trevor in his costume and headed out to visit some of my family that lives near mom. we stopped at papa/dads, sara jane & Gordon's, barry & Brenda's, and billy & mary lou's. it was fun to see them, but we didn't stay long so that we could get back to mom's to hand out candy to the trick or treaters. Trevor helped mom hand out candy, then I took him to the 2 neighbor's houses that are right next to mom's house. he loved walking/running down the road in his costume holding his pumpkin bucket in one hand and his ninja turtle glow stick in the other!
Saturday night was also daylight savings and that took a toll on T's sleep schedule. he hasn't been napping well for over a week now (right around 2 hours, usually just under) and hasn't been sleeping great at night either, waking up crying at around 3 am every night.
sunday we stayed at mom's until after nap/the Vikings game so that we didn't wake up Al (he had to work 3p-3a Friday, Saturday & sunday of Halloween weekend with a full moon and daylight savings so an extra hour on Saturday night, uffda!!!!!). then we headed home and I had a very tired boy by about 530p. I tried to stretch him so that we try to get back on schedule but his eyes were red and he was tired. so he took a bath, we read and he was in bed by 730, asleep by 745... he never falls asleep that quickly...
Monday morning Trevor woke up at 550am... it was so early! but it was beautiful outside so we played outside with the neighb's in the morning, had an early lunch and he was out in 10 minutes for nap. took only a 2 hour nap again... but we went for a walk, raked and played outside until supper time. I fed T at 5 (his usual time) but then we went to the local Mexican restaurant with the neighb's at 630. T did good and ate a bunch of chips & fries and loved rough housing with cam.
