this week was all about the garage sale; pricing my stuff, taking it to Jodi's house, playing at Jodi's house so we could set up, then Friday working at the garage sale. it was a nice week with a couple hot days, and then we got rain for the weekend. Tuesday night grandma DeDe and Grandpa Rick came over for supper; it was so nice out we played and ate outside. the insulation guy finally got to our house Thursday afternoon to take measurements and such to get us our bid to get new insulation put in our attic.
trevor had school all 5 days; his last 5 day week. Al worked Wednesday and Thursday and picked up a seat belt shift Friday night.
Friday was our garage sale at Jodi's house. Jackie came over at 730a to watch the kids until Al woke up so that I could work the garage sale since Jodi still had daycare kids. trevor was going to come with me to Jodi's but his buddy Easton was sick and wasn't there. I came back home for lunch and to get trevor on the bus then I went back to the garage sale until I went to get trevor. Tova and Al walked over to the garage sale for a bit once she was awake from nap. after I picked up trevor from school I stopped home to get tova since Al had to go to his seatbelt shift. we closed up the garage sale about 540p then Jodi, all 5 kids, and I went to cancun for supper. it was fun and we laughed a lot! Jodi opened the garage sale for a bit Saturday morning too but I just stopped there for a little while. the garage sale did great for essentially a 1 day sale; I ended up making $107! and Jodi and Kassie each made over $200!
Saturday we had my cousin Sara's wedding in Winona, MN. we put tova down for an early nap so that she could get a nap in before we had to head down there. she woke up shortly after falling asleep and threw up. she ended up throwing up in bed 4 times and then another 2 times while awake. so mom came to our house and rode to the wedding with trevor and I while tova and Al stayed home. it was a good wedding, good to see my dad's side of the family (mom was invited too), we ate, we danced, we conversed. then at 830 we headed back to eau Claire in the dark and rain on the small farm roads. but we made it, trevor didn't sleep a wink in the car but was out once in bed. mom stayed the night and tova only puked one other time just after we'd left for the wedding and then she was good.
sunday was raining but Tova, mom and I ran to the half off day of the consignment sale in Altoona while trevor and Al ran to a garage sale in menomonie. then mom and I ran to a vintage/craft sale just across the highway from our house. after lunch, tova napped, trevor had quiet time, mom left, and I went to Jodi's to help clean up/organize/sort from the garage sale. it was a quick take down and we were done with in 1.5 hours. the kids and I went down stairs to play and put the garage sale stuff away while Al finally trimmed the front door. then I went and got a pedicure with Jodi and chloe before Jodi leaves for Greece next weekend.
I came home from PT to find this :)
Carsyn and Tova had us laughing a lot at cancun!!
