monday and tuesday were my last days working at jodi's for a bit (while we're all virtual for school it would be too much to add my 2 kids to all hers and try to get school done too.) monday night was the vikings game. Al was off monday and tuesday too and trev was at school. i took tova with me to jodi's and Al took the edge in for some work, went grocery shopping and got some other things done.
wednesday the kids and i met my mom at willow river in hudson for a hike (and so i could get her the gift and hand me downs for my cousin sara's baby shower for her to deliver.) it was a bit chilly and windy on our hike but we had fun! we did the kids trails and there were lots of obstacles and fun things to do.
thursday was really nice out. so after school drop off, tova and i went for a 2 mile walk including a nature walk. she'd gotten a new purse from unc-o and she had to bring it everywhere even on the nature walk. then once home we only came in to go potty and get snack otherwise we were inside until nap time. after school pickup, matt and i took the kids geocaching again and we found a really cool one!
al was off friday-sunday and trevor had pajama day on friday for his last day of school for a bit.
saturday morning Al went deer hunting with matt for his first time in 15 years and he got his first buck! it was a 100 yard shot through 2 trees about a foot apart. it was only about a 6 pointer but it was a big deer! that morning, jodi adn i took the kids to joann fabrics for crafting supplies. once al was home at the end of naptime, i went over to jodi's to start our crafts adn then Al brought the kids over later for supper. i stayed at jodi's after al took the kids home for bed and we ended up having a zoom call with shane and jodi. we had lots of laughs and a really good time!
sunday Al and matt and cam went hunting again and Al got another buck for matt. the kids and i had a pj day and got out the christmas decoration including putting the tree up.
monday was back to work for Al. my dad came down for the morning and played cribbage with trevor and tova's favorite sequence animal game with her. then i had trevor's virtual conference during naptime. his teacher had only good things to say about him including that he's everyone's friend, is very thoughtful and very smart. he's over acheiving in math, and is right on track for reading and writing (and has made lots of progress in those areas!) after nap, we went for a walk to the short nature paths near our house and got to see a helicopter take off.
tuesday morning we met jodi and the kids at the playground at their school for a bit but the wind was chilly. then matt, jodi adn the kids came over for taco tuesday (since their kitchen is getting demo'd on wednesday they had no food left.)
