Trevor: he is so funny and goofy these days, the things he says are hilarious, he often says "keep it down over there," he loves his sister and always says hi to her and tries to get her to smile,
Monday night we went to matt and Jodi's for family dinner and had fun. jake, Kassie, kade and kins were there as well as Jodi's cousin jed.
Tuesday morning Al took trevor to swimming lessons, and once tova was up from her nap, her and I went over to Jodi's where jenny and her girls were so we could finally get a picture of the 3 little girls together. klare is almost 8 months, tova almost 5 months, and Carsyn almost 2 months; all 3 months apart and will be in the same grade.
Wednesday and Thursday Al worked and trevor had swimming lessons; I was able to stay in the pool area and watch on Thursday (parents can watch the 1st, 4th and last classes.)
Friday afternoon we packed up and left for my great aunt and uncle's cabin in siren, wi (the same cabin we went to for the 4th of july as my cousin becky mentioned that the cabin doesn't get used much and we should use it). matt, Jodi and their kids came too. we had a wonderful time! it was beautiful weather (chilly at night, high 70s during the day, sunny) although buggy but we all loved it. there was lots of fishing, swimming and laughs. it's a pretty small cabin so we slept 8 of us in the tiny cabin and Al slept in the loft above the garage with the questionable ladder going up to it. I was in the bedroom with both of my kids which was a little scary but actually worked pretty well. trevor was so tired after playing all day and not napping and staying up until 10 that he went right to sleep and didn't wake tova up. he also didn't wake up when I fed tova except for the morning ones at about 7ish.
us adults got to spend some time together, outside on the deck, once the kids were asleep. that was much needed and missed since we used to get to do that a lot when we lived next door to each other. Saturday morning matt & al made us egg, sausage & cheese pudgie pies over the fire for breakfast and they were delicious! then Jodi and I plus our babies went into town to check out the antique store in town. there was a kids paddle board there as well as some kayaks, canoes and row boats; we used all but the row boats. Jodi and I took chloe and trevor out in the canoe, and the dad's plus Camdyn fished off the kayaks. it was a great fishing lake and the kids caught tons! they fished a lot! it was super buggy so the babies stayed inside most of the time but they still sleep a lot being so young so it worked out well.
sunday we were all exhausted so we had breakfast and then packed up and cleaned up before heading out. we went right to mom's house (it's actually closer to mom's house than eau Claire) so that I could play softball at 4 & 5. auntie lynne and dad came to watch and mom & al brought the kids, too. I actually hit really well finally and it was a good, pretty fun night. then back to mom's to feed tova, pack up, and eat the ice cream unc-o got us before heading home. we got home, got the kids in bed, then unpacked.
Monday, trevor had swimming lessons again and while he was in there, Tova and I walked the halls of the school. Tova had only slept 25 minutes that morning so I thought she'd sleep while I walked but she didn't, so once home I put her down, got trevor in the bathtub, made lunch and then laid trevor down. he did nap which I kind of expected since he didn't get a whole lot of sleep at the cabin.
