2017 :: 7/52 :: Valentine's Day

Tuesday was valentine's day. we went over to Jodi's house for a valentine's party with our friends. there were crafts, a snack, a movie, lunch, passing out valentine's, etc. it was busy but fun! I made trevor a heart themed/cut breakfast too. Al was off Tuesday and Wednesday night, so we had tacos for supper and then watched the movie, moana.

Wednesday morning all 3 of us drove up to the cities and went to the Minnesota zoo. we didn't stay very long because there were so many teenagers there! it was really packed! then we met nana for lunch at chick-fil-a and then back to her house for nap. after nap, we went to visit matt, gina and cal at their house. dan-o came over too for supper. cal and trevor had lots of fun playing!!

we headed back home Thursday morning and then went to sign for our taxes. we weren't able to itemize this year because of buying our house half way through the year, so we will be getting back about the same as usual/last year.

this weekend the weather was in the 50s! so warm for February; so weird, but awesome!

Friday morning trevor and I ran to target then walked over to Jodi's house and played outside with the kids. we stayed for lunch then back home from nap. after trevor finally napped, we went outside again and he rode his bike with dadda. we then went to Jodi's house while Al got ready for work. we played with the kids until Jodi's friend Cheyanne came over. then we went to cancun for supper and didn't get back until 830. so home and to bed.

Saturday morning was swimming lessons then home for bath, pack and up to nana's house. we played outside lots on Saturday since it was beautiful out! after nap, maren and tula came over and went to the big woodbury playground and then had dinner at mom's house.

sunday morning I went to pick out fabric for our next quilt with auntie polly and auntie judie. then back to mom's for lunch, nap, another playground, and then dinner at mom's house. then Trevor and I drove home.

Monday morning we got up, breakfast, crafts, went outside to shovel some of our huge snow piles so they'd melt while it was still warm, before the rain that came that afternoon, and before more snow came. then we put trevor's bike in our car, drove over to Jodi's and the kids got to play in and ride their bikes through the big puddle at the end of their driveway. they had so much fun. then inside for a change of clothes and lunch at Jodi's. home for nap (he was out within 20 minutes) then sports class again. Trevor did great once again and mostly followed directions (after some repetition). home for supper, some easy play time, and bed.
