Tuesday morning, we ran to aldi and then drove up to Irvine park (all 3 of us since Al was off Tues-Thurs) because it was supposed to be really nice out. but once we got there it was still pretty cold out and there was still some snow so we just walked the length of the animals and back. the only animals that were out were the owls, hyenas and the tigers. the orange tiger was so happy to see us/people, he walked the whole length of his enclosure with us multiple times. once we got home, the sun came out and it got nice out, so we all went over to Jodi's to play outside and so Al could fix some bikes over there.
Tuesday after nap, we went back to Jodi's, played outside some more and then had a grill out for supper. we came home and then Jodi picked me up to go with her to her indoor sand volleyball game.
Wednesday morning after breakfast, trevor and I walked over to Jodi's for a bit to play outside since it was still really nice out and while Al got some things done at the house. then we walked back, worked in the backyard a bit, and had a picnic lunch on our porch. after nap time, trevor and I rode his bike around the block a couple times, played out back again while Al cleaned the grill, and then came inside cuz it was getting chilly out. shortly after, Al's coworked, Jim, his wife Abby and their little guy, Tyler came over for supper. Tyler is a year younger than trevor and they eventually played really well together. Al made burgers! Abby is a stay at home momma too so it's really nice to make that connection with another police officer wife! they live in bloomer and actually bought the house we looked at twice to possibly buy. :)
Thursday morning trevor and I went over to Jodi's house early for donut holes and fruit for graham's first birthday. we played inside for a bit and then eventually went outside (it was colder) because the kids were crazy, but it turned out to be really nice out! then we went home for lunch with Al. Thursday night we went out to dinner then home to watch a movie.
Thursday night into Friday morning we got 8+ inches of wet, heavy snow (while the cities, an hour away, got none). over the course of Friday we got another 2 inches for a total of 10.4. Trevor and I went out after breakfast and shoveled the driveway then Al came out and shoveled the sidewalk. Al had to work 3p-11p on Friday and he drove the edge in to work because our road didn't get plowed until 630a Saturday morning.
Saturday morning Trevor and I drove up to mom's house. at nap time, I went over to manda and johnny's house to help with house projects as they're hoping to sell soon. I stayed there until supper and then headed out to maple grove to meet with auntie polly and auntie judie to exchange fabric for paley's quilt (which we found out sunday the wedding is off because josh cheated :(. I stayed at polly's house until about 9 and headed back to mom's.
sunday we just had a day at mom's with uncle and played outside a little bit but it was cold the whole weekend. trevor took a 3 hour nap (after not napping or napping shortly for the previous few days) then we had supper there and headed back home to the snowy tundra.
