ole schnikees: 2016

Monday morning after breakfast, Trevor and I walked over to Jodi's house and played with the kids until 11ish. then we came home, had lunch with Al and left for the cities about 130 (hoping for a car nap for T; we didn't get one). We drove right to Shane and Jodi's house and we spent the evening playing with them. Luke and Trevor love playing with each other; they love doing the same things: rough housing, sports, watching tv, etc. Al and Shane grilled chicken while the little boys played outside and Jodi and I made brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes. we played in Shane's man cave in their garage lots, and played with Luke's toys when it was raining outside. T and Luke were pretty tired come 730 so we got them in their jammies and they watched tv inside while their dada's watched wrestling in the garage. we then drove back to mom's and spent the night there.

Tuesday morning we went to the como zoo for an hour and T was pretty tired and not listening well. so we stopped for lunch in woodbury quick then drove home for nap. I went over to the neighb's house to watch kids from 3-5 then came home and we worked outside.

Wednesday morning we went to the children's museum with Jodi, chloe, Easton, jake, kade, jenny, and kourtlyn. we hadn't been there in a while and not since they did some upgrades and added some new features. it was lots of fun and Trevor is now old enough and interested in making/doing the crafts! we sponge painted with noodles, made a clothespin mermaid, and he cut paper using scissors by himself for the first time! we made his cuttings into a collage. we then went to pizza del ray for lunch where Al and Matt met us! Wednesday was Al's Monday so after nap we ate supper then Trevor and I played outside until Al had to leave for work.

Thursday morning after breakfast we ran to the grocery store and the dollar store, then we walked over to Jodi's house. it was pretty chilly out so we stayed inside and the kids made a craft. after supper we again played outside until Al had to leave, and there were 'chines right outside our neighbor's house that we got to watch. then about 7 T's diaper was full and I didn't want to put another one on him before night time diaper/pj's so he wore big boy undies (padded ones) for the first time for an hour. I kept reminding him not to pee in his undies. after a half hour he stopped what he was doing and looked down so I knew he'd peed a bit. I quickly reminded him not to pee in his undies and then we went into the bathroom. he'd peed a little bit in his undies but finished the rest into the potty!

Friday I had kids all day. Matt dropped off cam, chloe, and kade at 730 so we ate breakfast quick then walked cam to school. it was super cold out and I didn't have enough mittens for everyone so our fingers were freezing when we got back; although the 3 little ones ran most of the way so the rest of them were warm. we warmed up a bit while playing then did 4 crafts! we painted candy corns, made silly pumpkins, colored a pumpkin coloring page, and played with stickers/crayons. we then played downstairs a bit where I got some fabric cutting done, then it was lunch time and nap time. of course kade was up before Trevor even fell asleep (kade only naps for an hour). when Al went in to Trevor's room after an hour, T told him he had to go potty. Al asked "poop" and Trevor said yes; so they went into the bathroom and T pooped on the potty! he ended up seeing Kade and then shortly after he was back in bed, T heard chloe get up so he didn't nap. The dads picked up about 320ish, Al grilled burgers for supper, and then T and I played outside again until Al left. I raked the leaves in the front yard and then went on a little walk with T on his bike. we tried undies again this night but only for a half hour since he was tired from not napping and needed an early bed time.

Saturday morning, trevor and I drove up to the cities to mom's house. I had our end of the softball sponsor party at the bar that sponsors us from 1-3. it was a good time, we had some drinks, some snacks, and some laughs.

sunday morning was beautiful out so we played outside at mom's for a bit until we drove home. we had lunch at home, T laid down for an hour, and then we went to the neighb's for cam's birthday party from 2-4 and Al came with us. it was star wars themed and they had a bounce house; Trevor spent most of the time in the bounce house. he had fun and it was good to see some of those people we hadn't seen in a while. we stayed until 445ish then went home so Al could get ready for work and so Trevor could relax a bit since he didn't nap. then Trevor and I went to cancun with matt, Jodi, cam, chloe, jenny, kyle, kali, and kourtlyn. it was delicious (Trevor's new word) and fun with our friends. then home and bed.

Monday Al was off work but had to got to range at 9am after getting home at 4am. Trevor and I ran some errands after breakfast and then Al was home when we got home. we played then had lunch and nap (for T and for Al). after nap, we went outside and raked again (6 small bags, 7 big bags, and a tarp-full, and we still have 4 trees left to lose their leaves). then we went to dinner, home to play a bit and bed.
