2016 :: 17/52

Trevor: has 3 of his 4 2 year molars &the 4th one now has 1 corner/point through, he's talking a lot more now (I think a lot has to do with Easton the little guy at daycare next door who is 2 months younger, is now really starting to talk and babble so it shows trevor how to babble and gets him to play with different sounds), he babbles now to himself, says on his own: push (buwsh), please (bees), cooper (ooper), Easton (eas-tah), chloe (toey), cam (tam), sun (and identifies it), bear (beaw), elmo, love you (wove u, but now he says it fast so it sounds like whoa), eat, huggy for hug, water (wa-do), please is now "bees", eye, sun, boat; will repeat almost everything we ask him to say as long as it's one or two words, is doing more two word phrases: momma push, more please, big boat,

Monday and Tuesday were Al's days off (and Friday to get into his new rotation starting in May). Monday morning was raining so we stayed in then after nap we walked over to Sherman Creek Park which we hadn't been to and it was so cool! we strolled T there and then parked the stroller in the gazebo and he walked along the nature paths with us. the paths are along the creek and the creek is nice and sandy so it'll be fun to play in once it warms up! we walked for quite a long while and then strolled him back home! that night we went with the neighb's to wagners for supper and then to watch Jodi play volleyball (she played college vball so I've always wanted to see her play; while sand volleyball is quite a bit different, she was very good!). it was chilly but Trevor ran around with cam and chloe.

Tuesday morning we went to the mall since it was still chilly out; we got Trevor his first real fishing pole and then went to the play place. there was a very tiny almost 1 year girl who was walking and Trevor went and stood right in front of her and stuck his tummy out, which was right in her face, and they just stood there looking at each other. I think Trevor was confused as to why she was so little and that he could see the top of her head. I told him to get used to it if he's gonna have uncle tyler's height. :) after nap, T and I went for a walk with Jodi pushing Chloe and Easton in her stroller. then the neighb's came over for supper; we had chicken and veggie kabobs, watermelon, and henry's hard soda (our first time). :) the kids played lots.

Wednesday and Thursday Al had to work 7p-330a so he slept in both mornings; it was cold both days and rainy on Thursday. Wednesday we went for a family walk and as we were almost back home, the neighb's came out to go on a walk (Jodi with a stroller containing 2 kids, matt with the wagon containing 3 kids, and Cam on his bike) so we turned around and walked with them too. we went to the track behind our house and then let the kids out to run around the track. then walked home, it was a good 2.5 miles for Al and me! Thursday morning T and I went to the neighb's house to play (since it was raining), did a craft then ran some errands.

Friday Al had off to get on his new rotation. in the morning, I went garage saling with Jodi for a bit (there were 2 neighborhood garage sales near our house) while Al and Matt watched the kids playing outside. I found us a nice patio set with the kind of chairs I wanted for $10 and it fit in my vehicle! we found a few other good deals on kids clothes and toys. Trevor ended up not napping at all, so once we got him out of bed at 330 we went for a walk to the nature trails (Sherman creek) again. we went a lot farther into the woods this time (T walked the whole way in the park) but came to a part with a no trespassing sign and the path got much smaller so we turned around before finding the pond we were looking for. Trevor even used a walking stick for a bit like dada. :) on the walk back home, Al and I realized our bodies were tired (we both had worked out during T's "nap" time) so it was a slow walk home. :) we didn't do a whole lot else after that and T had an early bath and bedtime, and he was asleep within 20 minutes of putting him down.

Saturday morning when Al left for work, T and I headed up to mom's house as we were having a family get together since my cousin Travis was in town from Colorado. we got in a quick walk after nap before family showed up at 4. it was great to see Travis and some fam. it was angi, ruby, judie, travis, wayne and Sheryl. we had pizza, ruby & trevor played, we chatted, Trevor had fun playing with Travis, and I got to braid angi's hair! :) Trevor and Ruby really played together; they were running around, laughing and tickling each other. it was so cute!

sunday morning we ran some errands and then went back to mom's house and got Trevor's sandbox down with sand in it (at home we share the neighbors sandbox), I got my bike and the bike trailer all set and hooked up so we went for T's first little bike trailer ride, and played outside until lunch time, then had a picnic outside for lunch. I had our first softball game at 5; we met early to sign the roster and have a beer, so mom and T came later for the game. it was fun to see my friends again and to play, but we're getting old :) we were up by 5 runs in the last inning and then fluffy missed like 5 grounders at 3rd so we ended up tied.

Monday morning we left right after breakfast so we could see Al before he went to work (his 6 day stretch ends Thursday). and we played outside with the kiddos all morning. Trevor poked Easton in the eye multiple times so he had a sit down break for that, then he was playing with/pulling Amaya's hair which I asked him to stop. but he did it again and she cried, so he had to take another break which he was not happy about. hopefully this doesn't become a trend...
