2016 :: 21/52

Trevor: his last 2 year molar is just about all the way in!, first buzz cut (at home), he's talking a ton now repeats the last word he hears from us or on tv (which is fun on those commercials that end in the b word and he says "itch" for a whole minute....), he's great at his 12 piece wooden puzzle and loves it, is starting to call animals by their names instead of by the noise they make,

Tuesday thru Friday I watched the kids since Jodi was gone. I had Kade a half day on Tuesday and a full day on Friday, and had Cam and Chloe all 4 days with Cam having afternoon 4K school.

Tuesday and Wednesday we were able to get outside around the rain, and we had fun walking Camdyn to the bus. Tuesday night Al needed to buzz his hair, so we decided to do Trevor's hair too since it's been so hot out and he has so much hair. we let him watch Al get his hair cut first and then he did great! he was watching frozen and eating curious George fruit snacks so he was good. :) Al assured me his blonde hair will stick around for a while so that we can grow out his blonde hair again after summer; I want to enjoy the blonde while we have it!

Wednesday Al had to go back to work and it rained on us a little when we were waiting for cam's bus so I ran home holding T and holding hands with chloe. :) Thursday was nice, no rain except for a little in the morning, so we got to play outside. every day Cam slept in until 9 am and Chloe napped for at least 3 hours; made it really easy on me and made the days go by fast.

Friday it was supposed to rain all day but thankfully it didn't. Chloe and Kade both cried at drop off/leave, and the kids were wound up inside. so we did get outside for a little bit before lunch. and luckily Cam had school as he usually doesn't on Fridays. Kade went down for nap easily (normally doesn't) and they all slept well. we just played inside at night and hung out momma and trevor until Al got home/bed time.

Saturday mom came down and it rained off and on all day; we ran to some garage sales, saw Trina's little 10 week old lab puppy, and took mom to woodman's (our huge grocery store). mom and T played outside while I made lunch then T went down for nap. mom and I prepped our lists for the lake vacation coming up and got a couple things done. Al came home from work early with a migraine and puked a couple times before falling asleep, so we stayed outside and then went to cancun for supper then to shopko to try to keep the house quiet.

sunday, we ran to a bargain store I hadn't been to yet and mom found Trevor a new train go go smart for a really good price! so we came back and played with that until lunch and nap.

Monday was memorial day and it was beautiful out! we went to the memorial day parade: Al, me, Trevor, Matt, Camdyn, Chloe, Jenny, Kali, and Kourtlyn. it was fun and a good parade but it was hot out there with all those people! then we came back home and matt set up their big pool, so the kids swam a little until lunch.

2016 :: 20/52

all this week we were outside in the gorgeous weather from about 930 am to sometimes 8 pm except for nap time. it was hot and the sun was shining! wed-sat mornings I went garage saling by myself for an hour and scored some great deals! toms shoes for T for $.50, a wheel barrow & lawn mower for him for a $1, a cozy coupe car for Tula for $4, a plastic see saw for Jodi for $4, a sturdy book shelf for $1.50 (needs to be painted but not if it goes in the basement), the next step up of puzzles for T for $.25 a piece (I've been looking for these for a while, and just as I thought he's great at them! need to find more), little people jungle setup with a bunch of animals for $3, couple items of clothes for T for $.25-$.50. I've been really lucky in my findings this week!

exactly one week + one day after our offer was accepted, the neighb's got a house too!!! and it's .6 miles from ours! 3 long blocks down and 3 short blocks over, definitely walkable! they close july 15th, we close july 29th! so we celebrated with a trip to cancun with them and Kassie, jake and kade! we also had some grill outs and drinks on the patios this week due to the celebrations and nice weather! we're gonna miss living right next to them but at least they're close; and we'll soak up all the time we've got left!

we've been going on our walks every day still but now we do them after dinner so it's not so hot! and Trevor loves the lilacs (ya-yacks) and to smell them! it's so cute! we're sad they're starting to fade already! He has been talking so much more this week! and his favorite word right now is 'ok'; he says it for everything and it sounds so cute! he'll also say his form of okie dokie. he says so many new words this week I can't even remember them.

Saturday morning we went to the farmers market with the all 4 of the neighb's and we bought some super delicious salsa (they didn't have much for veggies yet). we also walked around the park area and across a walking bridge for a little bit. then the neighb's ran some errands while T and I stopped at a garage sale, found a park to play at, and then home for lunch and nap.

sunday, all 3 of us went up to the cities and right when we got there we dropped of T and picked up Al's golf clubs. I then dropped Al off at manda and johnny's house as he was going golfing with Johnny & 2 of his friends. T hung out with mom while I organized our stuff in the basement for when we move into the house. I had softball at 6, mom, Al and Trevor all came to watch, as well as my dad. we won right at the end, we were down 2 runs in the last inning and with 2 outs we loaded up the bases with a walk, me on first. johnny was up and hit one off the top railing of the homerun fence scoring 2 and putting me on third (barely, I had to slide which I haven't done in 2 years). then jaci got up and hit a beautiful base hit to score me and get the win!

Monday morning we headed back to ec after breakfast but stopped at the little game park in menomonie to walk around it a bit and see the buffalo, elk and deer. we found out they have some nature trails to walk along back there too so we'll be going back with better footwear.
