Trevor's favorite Christmas song this week is "rum-pum-pum-pum."
Tuesday Trevor and I drove up to mom's house so we could finish making cookies and grab the things we were going to get over the weekend but missed out due to the snow. maren and tula came over to help decorate the cookies. we had lots of fun. Trevor didn't nap so we got him up a little earlier than normal so we could play outside since it was so nice out: 38 degrees! we did dinner at chipotle with mom then drove back home.
Wednesday morning after breakfast, trevor and I went to the mall to see santa. we were a little early so we go me some coffee and stopped in a toy store. when we got to santa we were the only ones there. we had talked the whole morning about what trevor was gonna say to santa but once we got there trevor wouldn't say anything or even look at santa; he just curled into me. I eventually just placed him on santa's knee and got 3 pictures before Trevor got down. :) then once we were 2 steps away from santa he was chatty cathy saying merry Christmas and what he wanted (a firetruck and fishing boat.) then we went over to Jodi's house to make cookies with the kids. they cut out the shapes, rolled the dough, and then frosted and sprinkled them. we stayed for lunch and then went home where trevor didn't nap again. matt, Jodi, cam and chloe came over for supper that night before Al went to work. then we all hopped into the van to drive around and look at Christmas lights; we found some really cool houses! then straight to bed for a tired little boy.
Thursday morning trevor and I did crafts, cleaned, laundry and played outside since it was so nice out again! then Thursday night we went to cancun for supper with matt, Jodi, cam, chloe, Kassie, jake and kade.
Friday (the 23rd) Trevor and I went to the indoor sports center play time with Jodi, cam, chloe, kade and then jenny, kali, kourtlyn, robin, aloni and Amaya met us there. the afternoon had a decently big snow storm so we headed out to Wausau just before lunch and just as it was starting to snow in eau Claire. trevor didn't nap as i'd hope. we went to grandpa peter's house first and opened presents there, then watched a movie since Trevor was so tired. then at 430 we went over to Jeremy's house for the Oleson side Christmas. there were lots of people and great food. we left about 7, dropped Gpa peter off at his house, headed home about 730 and only had to drive in snow for the 1st half hour, then it stopped. trevor slept the whole way home.
Saturday morning we opened presents at home then drove up to mom's house about 10. Trevor napped and then we went over to my papa's house for the warnke side Christmas. we played lots of ping pong and I even won 2 tournaments with 2 unlikely partners (cindy and aryn)! at about 8, Al took trevor back to mom's house to go to bed while I stayed and played more ping pong. Al came back once mom was home about 945 and we played more ping pong and chatted until about 1130.
sunday morning we had our little family Christmas with mom, tyler, al, Trevor and I. it rained/snowed almost all day and was really windy. mom's whole driveway was sheer ice as well as her road. there was more snow coming so even though we weren't supposed to go to Wayne's house for nesset Christmas, we headed out about noon. we slide down mom's driveway in her car twice, then slide down the hill on her road and finally all agreed we shouldn't go with all the ice (it's a good 40 minute drive to Wayne's house). so we missed the nesset Christmas but trevor got to play with all his new toys and we had a good time. after T went to bed, mom, Al and I played a bunch of card games!
Monday morning we played and cleaned at mom's house because at 3 was my cousin Kai and his fiancé Brett's wedding shower. we had almost 40 people in mom's house for the shower including some of mom's side and the lund's (Kai/auntie diane's side of the family which we know). it was a good shower but just a lot of people for mom's house; Trevor kept saying "it's a WOT of people momma." but trevor got to play with ruby and tula and the food was delicious.
Tuesday morning we packed our car full and headed home where we unpacked everything and then during nap time Al and I got everything put away/organized.
