Monday night Trevor had a fever, after a whiney day, so I gave him some Tylenol before bed and he slept all night. however, when I got him out of his crib he was warm again. we sat down in our chair just as we do every morning and he laid on me, sleeping in and out. he had a low grade fever and wasn't moving/playing much, so when Al woke up we decided to give him some more Tylenol instead of taking him in. after the Tylenol kicked in he was doing better, up and playing, and didn't get another fever after that. possibly those vampire teeth?
Al had Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday off this week. so on Wednesday, when the weather was nice and cooler, we went to the northern Wisconsin state fair. it was pretty small, but we had fun. trevor loved looking at all the animals and people watching. he got to try cheese curds, mini donuts, French fries and cotton candy. :)
Thursday we all headed up to the cities, in both vehicles, because Al had an interview at 1 pm and trevor and I were watching my friend's 3 kids and 4 dogs all day friday. I took the explorer to johnny both Thursday and Friday night since our advance track light had been on since we got it back and he was able to fix it really easily (no parts needed) once he got the right scanner. so glad we didn't have to pay the dealership a ton to diagnose and fix something so simple! we're hoping for no vehicle issues in the near future!
Friday we were at kris' house from 7-5 with her kids: Ellie 6, Easton 4 & Colton 10 months, along with her 2 labs & the 2 labs they were dog sitting. it was a lot of beings but it went well, other than Trevor only napping for 45 minutes. Ellie was a big help and Colton is very easy going (I suppose being the 3rd kid helps with that). we brought the explorer back to johnny afterwards so didn't get back to mom's til 7.
Saturday morning we decided to drive back to eau Claire until softball at 7 on sunday night. we hit a really great garage sale near mom's on our way out that was a daycare lady selling some of the many toys she had acquired (sounded like she has to spend money on new toys each year so she has a garage sale every year to keep the piles of toys at bay). we didn't buy a ton, but her prices were great! trevor got a little plastic slide, a giraffe coat rack (for at grama's house), some dishes & pots & pans for his play kitchen, a sit n spin, an elmo guitar, a couple books, and some lace up/sewing vehicles all for a total of $12. I've wanted to get him some lace up/sewing shoelace things for the future, but they're usually so girlie; but these ones are vehicles! also at this garage sale, the lady thought T was a girl and wanted to give "her" a purse.... :(
sunday we waited until after trevor's nap to head up for softball because there were storms coming and I didn't want to drive up there if they were just gonna call the game (again). it looked like the storms weren't going to be until later, so we headed up about 4 pm and were frantically looking for subs. only to get to the field and have the other team not show up at all.... ugh. so Monday morning we went back to ec.
