trevor :: 51st week

1/27/15

trevor: walked across the room behind his walker (after previously not taking a single step behind it), eating a little less this week, throws most of his food on the floor, thinks it's funny to do things he's not supposed to do (little stinker) like getting the dog, getting more whiney when he gets tired or hungry, laughs a lot and easily (laughed at himself and at every page of a book), very snuggly with his blankets, grabs at least one if not both when i'm picking him up out of his crib, getting more snuggly just before sleep and longer after sleep, attempted puzzles again and he's getting closer but usually just throws them, dances to any music he hears usually just a head bob but so cute,

Saturday mom came down to play with us and to babysit trevor at night. we ran some errands and trevor's nap schedule got all out of whack but it was a good day! then Saturday night I went to a small local bar to celebrate trina's 30th birthday. it was so fun and so great to see trina; I only stayed out til 1230 but man was I tired the next day. i'm not as young as I once was...

sunday mom stayed until T's afternoon nap and I just tried to stay awake until trevor went to bed.

Monday and Tuesday were Al's weekend so we got a bunch of stuff done, including getting our tax papers in to our tax guy. we're hoping to get enough back to pay for our trip to Alaska this summer!! we've decided to go this summer as we've talked about it for years and this will be the last summer that Trevor flies free! we just about have our dates picked and then we'll book our tickets and make it official & in the books! so excited!

 the weather has been so nice, we've been going for walks in January! making us think spring although i'm sure we're still in for lots of winter

trevor :: 50th week

1/20/15

trevor: tried kiwi loved it, we've put away almost all our 9 month clothes, I tried some bigger 12 month stuff on him and it fit, waking during sleep at the end of this week likely due to molars moving, gives kisses on the cheek (opened mouth and they turn into bites if you don't pull away quick enough :]), first shoulder ride on daddy and he loved it,

it slowly started warming up a bit his week. so on Thursday, all 3 of us ran to target (again, that seems to be the only place we go. I'm not complaining 'cause I love target, we just need to do more stuff i.e. it needs to not be so cold). it was a quick trip but nice to get out and not have to have Trevor in 4 layers and under blankets. we even walked out and got the mail. then after his afternoon nap, we all went outside for a bit. I pulled Trevor in his sled while Al played fetch with Beeker and picked up dog poop. We didn't stay out long because T seemed a little bored, plus it was dinner time. it was so nice to get outside! and Trevor fell asleep so much easier that night!

Saturday, my mom came down and we went to watch Al throw the weight and shot put at the indoor alumni meet. it's so fun to watch him throw especially since he loves it and was super good at it (he'd love to coach it again sometime in the future). after he threw and when it was time for Trevor's afternoon nap, mom, T and I drove up to the cities.

sunday, we had trevor's one year old pictures with gina but those will be saved for his 1 year post. he did great (although got sick of smiling and taking pictures towards the end) and they're super cute! gina is the best! also, sunday the packers played in the playoff game and lost. we were sad for daddy when they lost but a little happy as I still haven't gotten over my rivalry feelings towards them being a Vikings fan. Sunday night trevor was up crying off and on from 1230-2am and didn't nap well; thinking it's those 1 year molars.
