-----------------

Tuesday night when al came home from work he could barely walk on his previously injured & bothering him foot. he had to call in sick to work on Wednesday, went to the doctor on Thursday and has to be off work for at least 2 weeks. he has an air cast/walking boot and was walking better by Saturday. so we mostly stayed home until Saturday when we went to Wausau. we hadn't been there in a while. we got to see wanda, jesse, wendy, barb, grandpa peter and auntie althea. it was a beautiful day for a drive especially with the fall colors. trevor did great; smiled for everyone, laughed, let them all hold him.

sunday was football day; we watched the first half of the packer game at the neighb's house and then trevor took a good nap since he didn't that morning. Monday and Tuesday we just did stuff around the house, played, and attempted to stay awake since trevor is still up every 4 hours at night and has started rolling in his crib. starting on sunday, trevor, who normally sleeps on his tummy, started rolling onto his back before falling asleep and then getting mad he was on his back. he would then cry and it would take a good hour to get him to sleep for every nap and bedtime. it felt like the longest week ever for both al and I as it was pretty stressful. by Tuesday we decided it was just better for us at this point to nurse him to sleep if possible or otherwise walk him to sleep, and hope he grows out of this quickly. he also does this at night too and it up for an hour or two at his early morning feeding again. hoping it's a quick phase, or growth spurt, or developmental overload, or more teething.... I have a feeling this will come again (or stay around) when he learns to get himself into the sitting position.

we need to consider lowering his crib soon. he's getting so big!

trevor got his first top tooth on the 6th, his first bottom tooth on the 8th, and his 2nd top tooth on 10th. by Saturday the 11th, the whole base of the top two teeth were in so he started sleeping better and was less fussy during the day. he also wore an amber teething necklace (borrowed from luke) for those last 2 days so it could have been that as well.

trevor poops usually twice a day now, sometimes more, and you can definitely smell when he does. but they're pretty easy to clean up. he's also been peeing out of his nighttime diaper lately but i'm hoping that'll get better once/if he sleeps better/through the night. I have to change him at his 3 or 4 am wakeup/feed, which he does not like. he cries so we try to make it quick.

he's pretty much too long for his 6 month clothes now especially pants or one piece outfits, but I still occasionally put him in them. I've also started trying to create a type of "lovey," as they call it, in his blanket. I give it to him when he's sleepy, as I do his sleep routine and while I feed him at night. he's gotten really good at pinching especially at my chest while he's eating, it hurts. he also likes to pull hair which he's good at as well since he has such a good grip.

he's down to 2 naps a day usually totally about 3-3.5 hours; bedtime is between 730-830; he usually is up twice a night and gets up between 630 & 730. he eats a big supper every night (about 4 tablespoons of oatmeal cereal and at least one veggie (2-3 oz) & one fruit (1-2 oz)), occasionally eats lunch (cereal and a fruit and/or veggie), and still nurses just as much. he also drinks a tiny bit of water out of a sippy cup at dinner, which he loves to do. he's still not quite figured out feeding himself or eating chunks, but will chew on/eat mum mum crisp things (cuz they're bigger, easier to hold on to) and a banana chunk in his mesh teether.
