trevor :: 25th week

7/29/14

trevor: 2nd & 3rd times at the chiropractor, lots of tummy sleeping these days which is hopefully helping with his gas too, also has started to sleep with his butt in the air while on his tummy :), rolling over lots but only back to tummy he seems to have forgotten how to roll from tummy to back, toes/feet up and in the mouth a lot, does the bridge a lot especially when strapped into something or leaning back, ate sweet potatoes for the first time

-----------------------------------------

we decided to stay up at mom's until thursday since al was working, it was humid until tuesday night, so i could get trevor back to the chiro, so i could play softball wednesday night, and so we could see my cousins, mary, travis and little lia.

wednesday, trevor and i went to the chiro again and finally saw some effects! angie had said from the beginning, if it was making progress he'd poop shortly after the adjustment and sleep well since he was so relaxed. well, he pooped before we even made it to our next location and later in the afternoon took a 3 hour nap without waking up once!!! angie is hopeful we should only have to go in 3 more times at the most before it really sticks! i can't believe more people don't know about chiro for babies or didn't suggest it to me.

after the chiro we went to visit my cousin maren and it was great to see her! then i played softball with the ladies; i pitched and we won! i was sore after pitching tho so i really need to start working out again.

then thursday morning we went down to uncle jimmy's house where mary, travis and lia were staying (in from colorado). it was great to see them and always fun to get trevor and lia together since they're so close in age (5 weeks). we also stopped by shane and jodi's for a second to drop of some things since we were in the area, and re-confirmed that luke is adorable and tiny! then we had to get tator and head out because we had to sign our lease in eau claire at 3. lots of driving but trevor did great. still really bittersweet to be moving, but it's a must do...

saturday morning mom came down to play with/watch trevor while i packed and organized and cleaned because we have so much stuff in this big house. funny how that happens when you have the room. we got a LOT done! and even brought a load of sell/donate stuff into chippewa falls and i made $60 at cherry pickers (the local platos-like store here). we also got news that the landlords were doing an open house for re-renting this place between 6-7 on sunday so it was good we got so much done and organized. we also cleaned a bunch extra. pretty thankful for mom (as usual).

sunday we relaxed after such a busy day on saturday and got some last minute cleaning done. then mom in her packed explorer (taking stuff up to our storage unit - her house) and trevor and i in our packed explorer headed up to moms house. al had sunday night off but after two back to back 12 hour shifts and a baby who was awake/crying for 2 hours early saturday morning, he stayed to get some sleep and relax. then he came up monday-tuesday with us.

monday trevor went back to the chiropractor and angie is seeing progress; she also said that his hips/lower spine is one of the most stuck she's seen/felt. we had softball and won; fun as usual. tuesday al came back to mom's from shane's house and we went on a lunch date while mom watched trevor. then trevor tried sweet potatoes, which were a hit and afterwards al went back to bloomer.

trevor is still waking 2-5 times a night, usually 3x. he's also eating occasionally at night, but i think we'll try to have him eat something every night now. i'm also hoping to start pumping again next week to start giving him a bottle/sippy cup and to have some supply in the freezer.
