2024 :: 33/52

 wed aug 14 I worked out at 9am then trev and I went disc golfing with Camdyn. 

thursday my gym ladies and i met at the vfw for Katie's birthday for breakfast and bloody mary's. then we did the noon workout. trev had football practice that night. tova and i played at the playground that was there for a bit then went to target during his practice since it was close by. 

friday Al was off. we drove up to the cities early and went to the minnesota zoo at 10 am. it was kinda rainy but it was still fun. we went to lunch at teresa's a super yummy mexican place in lakeville. then we picked up Leni at her daycare, then picked up Etta at her school (uncle Jimmy took Tula up to the cabin with him.) (my cousin Maren's girls.) We stopped at their house to pack their things then brought them home to eau claire with us (Maren was in Thailand visiting her brother Will.) 

Saturday i worked out at 9am, then we went to the apple orchard then after lunch we had a pool party with Brooklyn, Cam and Nikki. we ordered pizza for supper. 

sunday we took all 4 kids to the gym at 9am, then home to change, pack up and bring them back up to maren's house by 1pm to meet uncle jimmy and Tula there. then we headed home. 

monday morning, i had Kinsley, and Rue. I worked out at noon then had Carsyn over to play with the girls and have a pool party. 

tuesday it was super nice out! the kids and i went for a bike ride; Tova's first with us since she's been riding without training wheels! we walked our bag of cans down to the school, played on the playground for a while, then came home and the kids played outside while i cleaned the car out.

2024 :: 32/52

 wednesday was trevor's last day of football camp. Al was off work. 

Thursday we went garage saling and finally found some good ones! mom came to watch the kids soccer games again. 

friday i worked out at 9am. then we went to sam davey playground with jodi and the daycare kids for a bit and hit some more garage sales. that night I got to go to a girls night with jodi, her mom, her SIL Kassie, and cousin Syd. we went to cancun then saw "it ends with us" since we all had read the book. it was fun and a good movie! 

saturday we hit a couple more garage sales, tried to go to the farmers market with matt & jodi but couldn't find parking, so we went to the library instead. the vikes had their first preseason game so we watched football. 

sunday i did the 9 workout then we went to a park and aldi. the kids and i went to ride the little train at noon then went to another park. 

monday after working and workouts, grandma DeDe and grandpa rick came over for supper and stayed the night. 

tuesday Al went to PT at 10, and the kids and i went to costco with gma DD and gpa rick before they left. we drove to stanley to drive some explorers that Al's friend from football, KD, had. trevor had his first flag football practice and we had dinner at matt & jodi's house.

 wednesday was the start of our annual cabin week with matt & jodi and kids!! we packed up and tried to head out by 9am but had a few issues with our boat trailer and then forgetting some stuff. but we eventually got going and were able to unload and get the boats in relatively quickly once there. we had a few issues with our boat at the beginning and one small engine light with matt's boat, but otherwise nothing! it was so hot while we were up there! we were in or on the lake most of the time (there was a sand bar on the lake that was fun! and we were right by a channel that went to another lake. we fished a lot even though we didn't catch much. we had lots of water toys: lily pad we borrowed from a friend of matts, a blow slide, a blow up pad to lay on, floaters, 2 tubes, skiis, wakeboard, etc. It was too hot to ski or wakeboard, but we did get a bunch of tubing in (cuz you could fit 3 people on it.) 

the olypmics were on while we were there so if we were inside in the a/c we were watching those. we did play a few games and worked our puzzle. matt & the big kids loved cooking on the black stone they had and we didn't leave the cabin at all. we were so tired by the end and we didn't leave until 430p on sunday, but we had lots of fun!!

monday night started trevor's flag football camp.

tuesday trevor had flag football camp 5-630, tova had a soccer game at 530-630, and trevor had a soccer game at 730-830. Al came after work to watch trev's soccer game.
