2020 :: 40/52

 tuesday Al was back to work. i dropped trevor off at school and tova and i walked to jodi's again. 

wednesday it rained a bunch but we did get a little field trip wednesday in inbetween rains. we drove from eau claire down to eleva which is a very hilly drive, and it was gorgeous!! we stopped at a garage sale, a little park with a pond, and a road side stop above the hills. we also found our first fuzzy wuzzy/woolly bear caterpillar of the season! wednesday night, matt, jodi and the kids came over for wings! the big kids got to play wii and they loved it and got along so well and shared/took turns so well! we had fun!

thursday morning after school drop off, tova had her 2.5 year appointment with dr sarumi. it went well; tova's weight is 96%, head size is 86% and her height is off the charts (Trevor wasn't off the chart until he was 5.) we're also trying melatonin every night for a month with her since she hasn't slept through the night since april. 

friday after school drop off, tova and i found a couple good garage sales, then came home packed up the car, picked up trevor early from school and headed to mom's to pick her up before heading up to uncle jimmy's cabin to help take in the dock. it was a gorgeous drive up to the cabin and we got up there in enough time to enjoy outside for a bit before dinner and it got dark. trevor and i fished off the dock for a bit but only caught one small sunny. maren, nick and girls got there about 10pm, so after bedtime. 

saturday was supposed to be cold and maybe rainy, but it turned into a beautiful day!! we put our kids in the usual red & black plaid, i gave all 4 girls pigtail braids, and we went on our walk to take our annual rock kid picture. once back mom watched all the kids inside while we pulled in the dock. then was lunch, naps for the littles and the adults who stayed up too late, while i took a wonderful walk by myself and raked the yard into piles for the kids to jump in. i even got to sit on the deck wrapped in a blanket and read for a bit. once everyone was up, uncle jimmy lit a day bonfire for the kids and let them roast marshmallows inbetween leaf jumping, swinging, and driving the jeep. we had a great day! supper, bedtime for kids, games, bonfire and a decent bedtime wrapped up the night. 

sunday morning was supper foggy! after breakfast the fog let up a bit so we packed up and hit the road. we made it to mom's about 1 and put tova down for a nap since she doesn't sleep in the car while we watched the vikings game. then the kids and i headed home for supper, baths, and bedtime.

2020 :: 39/52

 tuesday, i dropped trevor off at school and went to jodi's for work. i left tova/cranky pants home with Al and i think that's what she needed. 

 wednesday was field trip day again and this time we didn't go too far. just a couple miles away to trevor's school bestie, Liam's grandma and grandpa's house on the river. Liam's mom, cassie and his little brother Elliot came too. we got to go on a pontoon ride; we looked for turtles, went under the bridge we often drive over, saw the cliffs people jump off of, and then the kids swam in the river on their little beach. it was our last 80 degree day so it was a perfect day. right at the end before we headed home for lunch, the boys got to go in the hot tub to warm up. 

thursday was garage saling.

friday after school and after supper, trevor got to play in the neighbor's yard with some neighborhood girls that are also in 1st grade (one lives 2 houses down, the other right across the street from them and she's in trevor's class this year.) it was so fun for him to have neighborhood kids to play with!!

saturday morning mom came down and jodi and i went to a craft sale and ran a couple errands. during naptime, mom and i ran back to the big church garage sale. while we were shopping they announced that it was the last hour of shopping and everything was free. i found a hot dog costume for tova (had previously found one for trevor), some books, movies, crafting stuff and a whole box of hangers. then at 2 pm, matt and jodi came and picked up Al and I. we road tripped it down to nelson wisconsin to the delicious wood fired pizza place, the stone barn again. we stopped at a couple garage sales along the way. once there, we met shane, jodi and their 2 boys, and brohmer. smithers owns the pizza place and he was roommates with Al, Shane and Brohmer in college. smithers was busy but it was good to get them all together! we had a blast and a gorgeous day/night. we road tripped it back with a stop at a bar and then went to bed. 

sunday morning was spent picking out $2 pumpkins, playing with nana and playing in the leaves. nana left at nap time. i did get through some of the kids bigger clothes and found some halloween stuff for them. and had to pull out some of tova's 4t stuff since her t shirts are a bit small. 

monday morning i got a phone call from Al at work and he'd been having ankle pain all night and morning and was sent home to go in to urgent care in case it was a blood clot. so he went to the doctor while i took trevor to school adn tova and i went to jodi's to work. it turned out to be either barely gout or tendinitis.
