2019 :: 41/52

Wednesday Al was off but he had a work meeting from 430-815 :( so he barely saw trevor. once Al left for his meeting, the kids and I went to jenny's house to help pick apples before it got really cold. it was gorgeous out but windy. it got cold this weekend so we mostly stayed inside. tova got a runny nose early this week and had a cough for a day/night.

Friday tova and I went to the indoor sports center with Jodi, graham and Carsyn. tova had fun but got tired. she went in her first bounce house and was so funny with her knee bend "jumps." then mom came down Friday and got here in time to walk with us to get trevor. the kids, mom and I went to cancun for supper.

Al worked all weekend. Saturday the kids, mom and I went to kohls and the mall and got some Christmas presents bought. during nap, mom and I ran to fleet farm and she got more Christmas presents bought. trevor got a runny nose and cough starting this weekend.

mom left sunday morning; we laid low. watched the Vikings, then had a movie night trying to get trevor's cold to go away.

Monday was chilly in the morning but it got super nice out and sunny. tova and I did some outside work once back from walking trevor. then we ran to the dollar store and menards, then stopped at Jodi's and played outside with the kids. tova had lunch at Jodi's then we went home for nap. Al didn't get home until 615a so he slept until 2. I worked outside replanting pots and pulling dead flowers. then I shoveled the ash out of our bonfire pit and weeded some. we all walked to get trevor from school and he was pretty beat so we laid pretty low the rest of the night: Halloween show, games, supper, games, bath/shower, books and bed.

2019 :: 40/52

on Wednesday we went to the children's museum with Jodi and Carsyn and graham. it was our first time there without trevor and tova loved that she could just walk wherever she wanted. she didn't stop walking around much. :) we had fun. 

on Friday I picked trevor up from school at noon, we ate lunch and hit the road to uncle jimmy's cabin. tova slept for 45 minutes, we only had to stop once and we made it there by 6! mom, uncle jimmy and uncle jimmy's girlfriend clare were there already. then later maren, nick and their 3 girls came. 

it was cold and rainy on Saturday but we did get the docks in. we had a fun day inside although we did get the kids out for a little walk. Saturday night we went to zorbaz for supper and to watch the twins playoff game. auntie polly, uncle ron, and annie came too! we stayed up til midnight playing cards and laughing and it was fun! 

sunday morning was sunny and beautiful so we went for a long walk before lunch and hitting the road home. we got home about 6, unpacked, watched the rest of the packer game, bathed kids and then bedtime. 

Monday morning just before noon, grandma DD and grandpa Rick came to our house since they were flying out of Minneapolis the next morning. our furnace stopped working overnight, it was blowing out cold air and wouldn't turn off even when we turned off the thermostat. grandpa peter also came over to mow the lawn. Al looked at the furnace and tried some stuff but eventually called a guy he knows thru work who was able to come out later that day and fix it. Al also figured out that the noise we were hearing on the edge wasn't the brakes but that the lug nuts on the passenger side wheel weren't tight (we'd just got new front tires put on) so he went over to grandpa peter's to fix that. all before he went to work. gma DD and gpa Rick walked with tova and me to get trevor from school and he was pretty excited to see them. after playing in the backyard for a bit, we took them to their hotel.
