2019 :: 24/52

Monday once home, we unpacked, played, woke up Al, had lunch, nap/quiet time, I had PT and did errands. then once the kids were up we ran to a different green house to get the other veggie plants I needed. then we had auntie molly and grandpa peter over for a grill out. it was a super nice day out until we sat down to eat and the sun went behind clouds; then the mosquitos came out. the kids were super tired on Monday so we had early baths and bedtime.

Tuesday Al and grandpa peter took the Volkswagen in at 8 am to try to figure out why the a/c isn't working. we ran some errands but mostly stayed home. Auntie molly came over for supper.

Wednesday Al worked. in the morning the kids and I went to Jodi's house to play outside. I did the kids laundry and prepped to pack for the lake and for heading to grandma DD and grandpa Rick's camp the next day.

Thursday morning the kids and I ran to some garage sales and again I found a good one with 25 cent cute girl clothes. also found some clothes for trevor. we then stopped at Jodi's to play again for a bit. went home, got lunch and tova down for an earlier nap, and trevor had some rest time. then we packed up and headed up to rice lake (hemlock lake) to grandma DD and grandpa Rick's camp where auntie molly was too. we had fun! it was a nice day, a little chilly in the shade and the bugs were out, but still gorgeous. trevor fished lots! he caught lots of sunnies/blue gills and one bass. grandma DD taught him how to cast the spinning reel well. we had supper there, hung out a bit, and then headed for home.

Friday was pack and clean mania before we left for our week at the lake Saturday. it was supposed to rain but didn't until about supper time. so during nap I went out front and weeded and clipped the long grass. the kids and Al came out once Tova was awake. we went in because the bugs were biting and it started raining shortly after. auntie molly came over after supper and played circuits with trevor until bath and bed time. molly left Saturday.

short blog post week this week due to the week at the lake. i'll do a full lake week post once we're back.

2019 :: 23/52

first day, last day of 4K

Tuesday and Wednesday, I had Carsyn again. She's pretty easy and we had fun! Jodi came home Wednesday night! Thursday the kids and I did some garage saling in the morning but didn't find anything. mom came down Thursday morning and worked the morning from our house. then after lunch and after trevor got on the bus, mom, Al, Tova and I went to trevor's school for their last day of school parade and celebration. it was hot but good! then we came home for some outside/pool time, supper then mom headed back home.

Al worked Friday and Sunday this week. Friday the kids and I met Jodi, Carsyn and Kinsley at the Jeffers park for the morning before it got hot. then after nap/quiet time, we had pool time.

Saturday morning mom came back down. we ran to some more garage sales and found a few things. tova had an early nap so that we all could go to Wausau for Auntie Althea and Thadius's wedding reception. it was held at Tad's mom's house which included horses! we had a good time and it was a beautiful day! Trevor ran around with Liam the whole time and Tova was a hit in her .25 cent dress. she loved the horses and the puppies! we headed home about 730ish. in the car, trevor put his kindle down by himself and fell asleep!! tova didn't sleep in the car and was up many times that night (she had a stuffy nose: teething, allergies, cold?)

sunday morning, mom headed out after breakfast, then the kids and I headed up to the cities shortly after for softball. during naptime, I got to go hold my cousin maren's new baby that was born Saturday night. we had been impatiently waiting for baby to arrive since she was overdue. we didn't know gender. maren had the baby Saturday night: another girl (that's 3 for them.) Lenore "Leni" James. Lenore is my grama's name and james is maren's dad's name. :) She's a little peanut and the birth was extra painful for Maren but we're so happy she's here! then I had softball at 4&5 and while I was at softball, uncle Jimmy brought maren's other 2 girls (Tula and Etta) over to mom's for play time with T&T and supper. softball was a bit rough, we lost both and I inured myself again catching a thrown ball...

Monday morning, we headed for home.
