2018 :: 49/52

9 month stats: 20 lbs 5 oz (80 percentile), in the 95th percentile for height, and 75th percentile for head size. Trevor was 18 lbs 5 oz (25%), 75th for height, and 95th for head size at 9 months.

Tova: does 'so big' now, starting to blow kisses, eats meals with us and makes a mess :), says 'num num' for eating, pulled herself to standing a couple times including standing without holding on to something, will walk now if you hold her hands and walk with her, likes to pull her socks off,

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings we went to play at Jodi's house. Tova had a stuffy nose all this week so she didn't sleep great the early part of the week. Wednesday night I went out to dinner with the girls (Jodi, jenny and Emily) at a new restaurant 44 north that had an arcade in it. we had supper, a drink, a dessert, play pull tabs (I won $25), and played some arcade games. it was super fun!

Al was off Wednesday and Thursday nights. Friday afternoon tova had her 9 month checkup; we tried a different pediatrician as we still haven't found another one we like. we tried another one up in Chippewa, but still not a winner. she talked and talked and talked... lectured me on reading vs screen time and teeth brushing (neither was needed or warranted) meanwhile, I had a tired, antsy baby on my lap...

mom came down Saturday morning and we had a busy Saturday with her! we made 3 types of cookies, went and saw santa (we went at lunch time and had no line!), played, shopped, and had her famous meatballs for supper! sunday morning we played, I made wild rice soup, and mom left after lunch and after Al got up. trevor and I went outside when tova was napping to finish shoveling the patio, get his sled out, I pulled him around, and he played on his swingset.

we got our Christmas cards out this week, did some Christmas crafts, I wrapped some presents (i'm all done shopping!), decorated our tree, and have been coloring in our Christmas coloring books.

2018 :: 48/52 :: Tova 9 months

Tova: finally sleeping better at night again (even game me 7.5 hours on sunday night!), got over her texture thing and picks up lots of different foods and feeds herself, tried eggs, noodles, bananas, pears, ground beef, beans, tomatoes,

Monday was back to school for trevor.

Tuesday I had my Usborne book party at our house at 530p. only Jodi and Kassie came but we had fun and I just love those books. they're so cute and fun.

Wednesday morning, we went over to Jodi's house to play and celebrate klare's first birthday. it was a good time and the kids ate lunch over there before coming home to get trevor on the bus.

Thursday it had snowed a little bit but was pretty warm, so I brought tova out with us to get trevor on the bus. trevor helped me shovel the driveway until his bus came and then I finished it up while tova watched from the stroller. then I took her out and put her in the snow and she loved it! she was playing with the snow ball, fell back and smiled, and smiles when it we see it snowing out the window.

Friday morning trevor woke up with a tummy ache. he hadn't eaten well in a couple of days and didn't eat well for breakfast (tova and I were up and dressed and had to wake him up because we were going to go to the indoor sports center with our friends.) he pooped a lot and had gagged a couple times so we stayed home. he was super tired and had a tummy ache all day. trevor took a good long nap, Al got up (he was off work), and we just bummed around the house. I put tova to bed as Al was bathing trevor, then Al put trevor to bed and he ended up puking. he puked in his room on the floor and twice in the bathroom on the floor before Al could get him to the toilet and before I could get the bucket to him. so Al started floor cleanup while I did trevor cleanup and another bath for him. then trevor went right to sleep and only woke up once at 230a because he had tooted and a little came out.

Saturday morning, trevor's tummy was feeling better but he was still pooping some and super tired. he didn't eat well Saturday either and he just laid around all day. Al ran some errands and then I went to a craft show. Trevor asked Al if he could go in and take a nap, and then went in and fell right to sleep. he slept for 3 hours and was still tired afterwards so he just watched movies all night. he didn't want to eat much, but drank his water and Pedialyte. he had a fever all afternoon and evening so I eventually gave him Tylenol for it when he was complaining about it. he fell asleep right away again. we had a big snow storm Saturday afternoon until sunday morning.

sunday was mostly a lounge day as trevor was still tired and not eating all that much. we did get outside after tova's first nap to shovel but trevor sat most of the time and was pretty worn out when we came back in. tova loved the snow again! we watched football and grandpa peter came over for supper (minestrone soup and steaks.) tova tried parts of the minestrone soup and ate a ton; she loved the noodles! trevor took until after 10p to fall asleep but he did have a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. tova slept from 730p-530a! I did dream feed her at 930p.

Monday morning we played with some new toys I pulled out, crafted, ate (tova had eggs and bananas, and she didn't nurse for very long), and tova stayed up until 11am before her first nap! then snack tray for T man (he still didn't eat much) before we bundled up to go outside and wait for his bus.
