2017 :: 31/52

Grandpa Peter stayed until Wednesday; Al had Mon-Wed off. Wednesday morning, T and I went over to Jodi's to play and help because she had a ton of kids! it was beautiful out so we played outside the whole time until lunch. then we went to dinner with them/the neighb's at hangar 54 for wing night. we went back to their house afterwards for smores and to watch big brother.

Thursday night, Trevor and I drove up to mom's house. Friday morning mom, T and I went to the Washington county fair and Meg, summer, skye and Ty met us there. it was a beautiful day to be at the fair so we stayed for 4 hours! Trevor loved seeing all the animals. we ate some good food, saw lots of things, and had fun with our friends. trevor fell right asleep for his nap at 230.

Saturday mom went up to st cloud to visit with her friend, so Trevor and I had the day to ourselves. we went to elouise's soccer game at 845 then tagged along with manda, johnny, eva and elouise to see their new house. then back to mom's house for some playing and lunch, then we went to eva's soccer game at 1 then back to mom's for nap. after nap we played outside, had supper and then nana was back.

sunday morning I went to the apple valley consignment sale and maren, tula and baby etta met me there. I found some good deals and got to hold Etta! then back to mom's for lunch & nap while we waited for softball. softball got cancelled at 3 pm because of rain, and trevor wasn't sleeping yet so I packed up, loaded T up and we drove home. Trevor slept the whole way home and we got to see Al once he was home from work.

Monday was Al's Friday. once Al was getting ready for work, T and I ran to the children's museum for a little bit before going to the grocery store. after nap, it was beautiful out so we played outside until supper and then went back outside after supper. once Al was home, I went to Jodi's house to watch the bachelorette finale with her.

Tuesday Al was off, so in the morning we went to Irvine park to see the animals since we hadn't been there all summer. on our drive back home, we stopped and got Olson's ice cream. then home from lunch and nap. after nap, we went to Fairfax pool to swim for the first time. it wasn't the warmest day, but we had fun. Trevor was a jumping and swimming machine!! then home for supper and a movie; we were exhausted!

2017 :: 30/52

Wednesday and Thursday were the basketball portion of his class indoors and he liked it. he got to dribble, shoot, and pass. he did really well, listened ok (he gets distracted by other kids and wants to do what they're doing), and kept his hands to himself. the first day he discovered he could dunk so then he didn't shoot much but the second day he was shooting more and made lots of shots!

Wednesday night T and I went over to the neighb's house for supper. Thursday after his class, we met Jodi and the kids at a new park where it was really hot and the kids got really sweaty. then we went to mcdonalds for lunch with our friends.

trevor did not nap Thursday or Friday and not until 330 on Saturday... but i'm not willing to give up on naps yet.

Friday morning we went over to Jodi's to play because there were lots of friends there and so Jodi could take cam to golf. the kids ran threw the sprinkler and we had lunch there.

Saturday Al didn't have to work until 7pm, so in the morning we ran to target and aldi and then had lunch at the Chinese buffet. Al napped during nap time, and I tried but talky mctalkerton kept me awake.

sunday T and I drove up to mom's house for softball and then came back after softball for T's pre-op appointment Monday morning. we stopped at the big playground and splash pad in woodbury right when we got there. it was our first time at the splash pad and we were there at 945am and it was still pretty busy. it got hot fast so we didn't stay too long but T had fun. my team played well, I hit really well, and we won.

Al had Monday-Wednesday off this week, so Monday morning all 3 of us went to trevor's pre-op appt where we waited for the doctor for half an hour for a 3 minute physical. but he's perfectly healthy and ready for surgery on the 11th. at naptime on Monday, grandpa peter came up to visit. we had brats on the grill and then I went over to Kassie and jake's house to hold baby Kinsley and then went to Jodi's to watch the bachelorette.

Tuesday morning, gpa peter, Al, Trevor and I went fishing for Trevor's first time at a little lake with a fishing dock here in eau Claire. we only caught tiny bluegills but it was great for trevor and we're glad we caught anything for his first time.

2017 :: 29/52

this weekend, T and I drove up to mom's house on Friday morning. I dropped Trevor off at mom's for her to watch him for lunch and nap time, and I went over and cleaned manda's house again since the sale fell through and they were relisting their house on Monday.

Al drove up after work on Friday night but drove right to new ulm where shane and some other guys were. they had their fantasy football draft Saturday all day/night in new ulm.

Saturday morning, I went with manda, meg, and Shannon for our 4th annual girls canoe trip down the st Croix river. it was the perfect day to be on the river!!! it was hot and sunny, but a little cloudy. we paddled, floated, waded, bald eagle spotted, and swam! the last beach we stopped at there was a heavy current there so we ran/walked/swam against the current for a little workout for our legs too. :) we stayed in the water/current for almost an hour; it was so cool! we spent almost 6 hours on the river and was exactly what us momma's needed! Saturday night was dinner at nana's with nana and unc-o.

sunday morning, Trevor and I drove down to near new ulm to Jodi's family farm for Lukas's 3rd birthday party. we got there early so luke and trevor could play and then shane and Al came there too. the party was 1230-330 but I had to leave at 130 to make it to softball in time. T and Al stayed at the party until it ended. we had a double header at 4 & 5 and beat the first place team but lost to the last place team.... :/ after softball, all 3 of us drove home to eau Claire.

Al had Saturday-Tuesday off. Monday started trevor's soccer/basketball class Mon-Thurs 10-1045. Monday and Tuesday were soccer and trevor had lots of fun and scored lots of goals. he had just a few blips of not listening or not keeping his hands to himself, but he's getting better! we're really liking these classes, but this is the last one of the summer.
