2017 :: 6/52

Al had Monday-Wednesday off this week and it was raining/ice/snowing and then cold so we mostly stayed inside and got a lot of things done in the house. we took the changing table and rocking chair out of trevor's room and there's so much space in there now. we also cleaned, organized and played with lots of new and old toys.

Monday night was trevor's sports class again and he did great again! the only time he cried was when his ball went past the curtain where he wasn't supposed to go so he just cried cuz he wanted his ball but wanted to follow the rules. :) Monday night I went over to Jodi's again to watch the bachelor with her.

Tuesday night we went to the neighb's for tacos and leftover birthday desserts. Wednesday morning we ventured out in the cold to the grocery store and Al made his first loaf of bread in our new to us bread machine.

Thursday morning, Trevor and I went to Jodi's to play until lunch. we just stayed home the rest of the night as I felt kind of funny. Al went to work and as I was putting trevor to bed, he said his tummy hurt. so he sat on the potty a bunch to try to poop. he didn't poop so I put him to bed and not 10 minutes later he puked all over his bed. I gave him a bath, got everything cleaned up, hoped it was a one time thing (the stomach flu/bug went around the kids at Jodi's house last week), put him to bed, I had some tummy issues too, then trevor puked in bed again. I called Al to come home and then cleaned up and brought trevor to bed with me. he slept for about an hour and Al made it home before T puked again. it was a bad night with very little sleep. trevor threw up from 930p-330a and I threw up at about midnight. I got about an hour and a half of sleep until 4am and then slept until 6am. the next day was just recovering. cleaning, laundry, and sleeping. mom came down Friday after work to help out. Trevor was good after his long nap on Friday. I felt good on Saturday but crappy again sunday morning. and came home from work on Saturday night with tummy issues and called in sick to work on sunday night. then mom ended up getting it too on sunday night. ugh! what a waste of a weekend!

Saturday, since T and I were feeling good, we went to swimming lessons. then mom, T and I played outside for a long time (35 degrees!). T rode his bike, played in the snow, we filled our bird feeders, etc. then after nap, Al finished putting together Trevor's new (to us) bigger bike (14") and trevor rode that one to the park for a little play time.

Monday morning Trevor and I were great so after breakfast we needed to get out of the house. we went to target then came home and walked over to Jodi's to play outside with the kids since it was 40+ degrees outside!! it was so nice out and so great to get out of the house and outside!

2017 :: 5/52 :: Trevor 3 years old

Tuesday night we went to cancun for supper with the neighb's.

Al worked wed-Friday this week. Wednesday morning we got our taxes brought in and then ran to the grocery store. during nap time, I ran to the mall to do a return and to shop with my birthday and Christmas money, and man, has it been a long time since I've shopped for clothes for myself. I couldn't find even one shirt or dress I liked to wear for our birthday outtings and felt very old...

Thursday morning my dad came down to see our house, play with trevor and bring our birthday cards. he also brought a cool 3 wheel bike for trevor to ride. trevor played with grandpa neil, I beat him in cribbage, and we had lunch and birthday pie. then after nap we had supper with Al and headed up to mom's house for the night (although she wasn't there, still in belize).

Friday morning we went to the oakdale theater to see frozen with our cousins: maren, tula, angi, craig, and ruby. we got there super early, but that gave us lots of time to go potty, get popcorn, find our seats, take pictures, and get settled before the movie started. it was trevor (and tula's) first in theater movie and they all did great. the theater had big recliner seats in pairs so trevor sat by ruby and I sat next to him on the other side with angi. each kid had their own personal bag of popcorn and they were so cute! they sang and danced to the songs. then we went to dairy queen for lunch! after lunch trevor and I drove back to eau Claire for nap.

Saturday morning, all 3 of us were out the door at 830 to pick up trevor's cupcake cake and get to his gymnastics birthday party at the university. his party was from 930 to 1130 so the kids got to play until 11 then we had blue cupcakes and trevor opened his presents. he had lots of fun with his friends and loved each present he opened; holding it up and smiling for each one. the kids that came were: cam, chloe, kade, kali, kourtlyn, Easton, cooper, and thaeden. after his party we stopped to get sandwiches then home for lunch. after lunch we watched a movie until manda, johnny, eva, and elouise stopped by for a little bit. they left and trevor got down for nap at 230. we attempted a whole family nap and Al was out right away. grandpa peter showed up about 3ish and joined in the family nap too.

we got up just before 5 to get ready to go. Al and I brought trevor over to Jodi's house to play with his friends while we went to dinner at Fuji with a total of 13 of us for mine and Jodi's birthday (the day after mine). we had reservations at 630 and didn't even order our meat until 8 pm... they were so slow. so Al ate quick then went and got trevor, and did bedtime routine with him and grandpa peter. then Al put trevor to bed, gpa peter stayed with trevor, and Al joined us at wagners for drinks. trina & her hubby tyler met us at wagners. it was fun and we didn't get home until 130am; yikes!

sunday morning we just played with grandpa peter until lunch and nap when gpa peter left. trevor fell asleep for nap right away! then after nap we went over to the neighb's for the super bowl. we had great food, a crazy game and fun with our friends.

Monday morning after breakfast, all 3 of us went to trevor's 3 year appointment with dr sarumi. it was a short, quick, easy visit. he got a new book and actually talked to dr sarumi this time. he is 3'4" tall (95% still), 34 lbs!!! (we were hoping he was 31 or more) 75%!! and his bmi shot straight up again 25% this time so that's great! no more worries about his weight! his only shot was the flu shot and he just flinched and then it was over. we ran to shopko afterwards where he got a blaze toy (blaze is his new favorite show about monster machines/trucks/cars and it's more interactive than paw patrol). then home to play, lunch and nap.
