Monday we played outside in the snow with Al in the morning. then after nap, Trevor and I went to his first sports tykes class while Al went to work to help with some training. Trevor is taking sports tykes abc's at the indoor sports center. it's a 6 week class on Monday nights for 3 & 4 year olds where they play games based on a different letter each week. they're learning to listen to the teachers/coaches, working on teamwork, etc. it was raining freezing rain Monday night but we went anyway; the main roads were fine, but the parking lot and our road and driveway coming home were ice skating rinks. it's a 45 minute class and I wasn't sure how trevor was going to do or if would need to do everything with him. but he did great! his buddy Thaeden is in the class with him so that helped; he also buddied up with a little guy named chance who followed the directions well, so that was good. Trevor did everything the teachers asked except answer/talk when they asked him questions, and only ran off chasing Thaeden a couple of times. he had fun; i'm glad we're doing this class even though it's a little expensive.
Tuesday after breakfast we went over to Jodi's house to play for a while and then came back home about 11ish to see Al before his afternoon shift. trevor napped early so once he was up we played outside (almost 40 degree temperatures this week). there was lots of ice on our driveway, sidewalk, and road but also lots of water. so we chopped ice on the sideway and then jumped in the puddles for a long time. we went over to the neighb's house for Sammy's pizza for supper then came home for bath and bed.
Wednesday morning we ran errands in the morning and I ran more errands while Al did lunch and put trevor down for nap. after nap, all 3 of us went outside to chop ice on our driveway; we got almost half of it clear of ice.
Thursday morning after breakfast, we went over to Jodi's, piled in the van with chloe, kade, and Jodi to go sledding at 7 bumps hill (which is a smaller hill and you can go down just half of it). it was trevor's first time sledding on a real hill. because it was so warm out and we waited until later in the morning, we thought it'd be wet and trudgey, but it wasn't and the hill was SO fast. chloe and kade went down a couple times, and T and I went down twice without incident. then we put all 3 down together.... they hit a big bump and then rolled to their side and onto their faces. kade and trevor got road rash on their faces, with kade getting the worst of it. trevor's is on his chin and then once we were home, I noticed he has some on his cheek too. right before his 3 year pictures... we did go down the hill 2 more times just for good measure but then we went and got ice cream. :)
once we were home from sledding and ice cream, Al and I were in the kitchen making lunch and trevor came running from the living room, said "momma, I hafta go potty," and ran into the bathroom. he pooped and peed on the potty!!! first time he's told us he had to go!! then after I put him down for nap, I heard over the monitor "momma, I have to poop." so I put him on the potty and sure enough, he pooped again! yay!!
after nap, supper and sending Al off to work, Trevor and I ran to joann fabric quick (lots of outings this week with no accidents!)
Friday morning we went and got trevor's hair cut, then we went over to Jodi's house after doing some crafts; we stayed home at night.
Saturday morning was swimming lessons where I was able to ask the teacher about the next step for trevor and there's another parent/child class then 3 preschool classes which they need to be 4 to enter, so we're gonna do this one again and work on getting his face under water. after swimming lessons, we ran home quick then I dropped T off with matt and the kids, picked up Jodi, went and picked up Kassie, and we went to once upon a child for their bag sale. it was busy and we stood in line for an hour and a half. I got some great deals on 4T clothes for T but there was not much in the bigger sizes, so these probly won't be worth it for me to go to in the future. :( I did get him a couple little toys for his birthday and some shoes while I was standing in line. we didn't do much Saturday night.
sunday morning we woke dadda up at 930 and headed up to mom's for our birthday party with nana and unc-o since mom's gonna be in belize over our birthday. we got there and had a brunch for lunch, opened a couple presents, played a little, then T went down for nap. while he napped, the 4 of us played cards then watched the packer game. we ordered d spot (chicken wings) for supper, opened the rest of the gifts, ate then had ice cream cake and then played a little before bed. mom ended up with food poisoning or the stomach flu during the night so once we were up at 715ish, we packed up and left, hoping not to catch it. we went to my favorite breakfast place, keys café, for breakfast and unc-o met us there. then we drove home, unpacked, and played until nap time.
