2016 :: 24/52

Monday after nap Auntie Molly arrived from Alaska! Trevor took only a little bit to warm up to her and then wanted her to do everything with him. Monday night we grilled out with the neighb's and had nummy burgers!

Tuesday morning after showers and breakfast we took auntie Ma-dee to Irvine park. we walked around the whole thing and saw the animals. trevor got bit by the donkey but it was his fault, he tried to feed him the smallest piece of grass and stuck his fingers in his mouth. then we stopped at Olson's ice cream again. :) after nap we grilled out again; this time brats and chicken with the neighb's and jake, Kassie and kade. it stormed that night.

Wednesday we went and walked around the mall with Auntie Molly, and Trevor got to play at the play area. we had nummy pizza for lunch!

Thursday and Friday I ran the garage sale with Jodi while we had the kids. Auntie Molly helped out in the morning then she headed out to Wausau. it was hectic and crazy and super sunny (sun burn) but we did pretty good at the garage sale (Jodi and Matt had the sale open Saturday too but we were at the lake). Friday Trevor did not nap so I got him up at 3ish and packed up quickly, and headed up to mom's so we could head to the lake (hoping he'd nap on the way up there, but he didn't).

i'm going to end this week here and start the next one with the lake. :)

2016 :: 23/52

Tuesday when Al got up, we decided to head out to see some animals. after realizing it was too late in the day to go up to Hayward, we drove to Irvine Park in Chippewa. it was a beautiful, little bit chilly morning. we walked the loop, saw all the animals, played at the park twice, saw the ducks, and walked on lots of trails. it was lots of fun. then we headed into Chippewa to get some Olson's ice cream, then home to play for a bit, lunch and nap. T was up making noise at 550am and fully talking at 630 so he was tired and fell asleep right away for nap (so weird for him).

Wednesday, the 3 of us headed up to the cities after breakfast, stopped at the very busy como zoo, then napped at mom's house. Will, Maren, Nick, Tula, and uncle jimmy came over to make our lasagna for our meal night at the lake. it was fun! Tula and Trevor had fun playing outside in mom's backyard and in the swing. we ate, played, made lasagna, and headed back to ec at 8 pm cuz Al had to work in the morning. it was beautiful out so we sat on the patio for a bit with the neighb's once the kids were in bed.

Thursday, T and I went garage saling and they were a bust; we only bought 2 puzzles for 50 cents. we played outside with the neighb's until Cam got back from camp and then we had a little birthday party for Cooper. Thurs-Sat of this week were HOT! we stayed in Thursday night and got a bunch of stuff done.

Friday morning I went garage saling and didn't find much; some 4T clothes for T, a couple puzzles and books. then we played outside with the neighb's, set up the sprinkler and had a picnic lunch. it was hot!!

Saturday morning we headed up to mom's and played outside (hot again!) in the water table and sprinkler. after supper, I went to good neighbor days in hugo with meg and dave to see the band 'good for gary' which I played softball with a couple of the members. it was lots of fun, we got to dance, drink beer, chat and then we went to sal's bar right by meg and dave's house afterwards.

sunday softball was at 6 and it was a great game! we thought we were gonna lose, ended up tied after 7 innings, but since we had some time left, the ump let us play out the tie with another inning and we ended up winning!!

Monday morning we headed back home to ec to get some stuff done before auntie molly comes to visit from Alaska! this next week is gonna be super busy. Molly is here Monday thru wed or thurs, we have the garage sale Thurs-Sat so getting ready for that, then we leave for the lake on Saturday (Al leaves on Monday) so have to pack for that, and then they'll be showing our town house while we're gone so we need to have it super clean before we leave.
