holy crap it's been a long long time...

here is a little update blog with a mesh of some of the things i've been up to since feb. :) i have been very neglectful of my blog. but i have since moved home to minnesota, east side, started softball, lost 17 pounds, working out at lifetime again, etc...

this first pic is using gina's rebel (nice) camera. i love it, so peaceful except the snow :) then i got to meet brittany and charles' new english bulldog puppy, bella and got to see their other bulldog brutus. below is britt with the 2 dogs, whom i love :)

went to my second year of the beer bust for johnny's tuesday night mens softball team with some of my favorite people in the world!! manda, kim, me and kunde

welcomed ellie may benysek into the world in march. she is such a peanut and so fricken cute. congrats again kris and jeff!!!

and my going away party from eau claire consisted of beaver days in a very small town in wisconsin with trina and nicole from my work, megan came down too. and met courtney, beave, melissa, katie, derek, ree, etc. such good times complete with beaver costumes!!!

well, it's official. as of april i will again be a minnesotan living in minnestoa!!! i'm excited to be back in the great state, but sad to leave a secure job and good friends. as of now, i am transfering to the stillwater menards and working in the garden center. however, seeing as how i am getting a huge cut in pay and have outdoor spring allergies, i don't think that will be lasting for very long.

i have adopted a new softball team this year (if it works out) and thus i will be playing 3 nights a week!! i'm really excited. i love softball time. good friends, exercise, grill outs, beer, sun, fun, competition... what more could i ask for?

i am moving back in with my mom for the fourth time (i wonder if she's sick of all my shenanigans yet?) but i am completely ok with it and hoping to pay off debt and save a bunch of money. oh yeah, and figure out what the heck i am gonna do with my life....

started my twice a week 2-a-days workouts this week (only have one day successfully completed, tuesday) but tomorrow is the second. i am really hoping to be in excellent shape for softball so i can hit harder, throw farther, and most importantly run faster :)

so there's this "note" going around on facebook that i'm am in love with reading everyone's entries. you have to write 25 random things about you, and some are true insights, some are unknowns, some are memories, some are goals, etc. so i pasted mine here :)

21. i want a puppy so bad but have no idea how to train it

22. i have a love/hate relationship with lunges

good grief, where did 2008 go?

although it would seem by my lack of posts that i have been super busy and had a jam-packed december, but really i have no idea where december went. or all of 2008 for that matter. well, i have posted a few updater posts below.

let's see if i can even remember anything i did in december and these first couple of days of 09:
*was obsessed and engulfed in the twilight series and now wish i had a vampire of my very own! finished all four books rather quickly.
*watched and loved the biggest loser series.
*went to olive garden for my brother's birthday.
*had xmas tree day
*worked a lot, of course
*made cookies with mom
*helped gina and matt paint and clean their new house!!!
*had 6 days off in a row for xmas in which i spent some time in wausau, with dad's side, at mom's and with mom's side
*cheered the vikings on to the playoffs
*had 5 days off in a row for new years: spent in new ulm, and the cities with my momma
*got the flu after new years, which lingered for a week
*had kris' baby shower!! getting so excited for little jack or ellie to come!!
*got to meet my cousin's little kitty boo and gina's little puppy mya
*got to see some of the zeidlers/heislers and meet miss kambria
*went to lifetime a couple times with g, and got to do one of the cardio classes i love and got to use the streamroom (my favorite)
*otherwise lots of sleeping and some watching of tv and movies

i guess i did do a lot, but it feels like just last week was thanksgiving... hopefully i'll catch up with the times!!!

new years in new ulm

we spent new years eve in new ulm mn with al's best friend shane, his girlfriend jodi, boz, and shane's parents. shane and jodi are from new ulm and grew up together. they now live in chaska and we were planning on spending new years in the cities, but on a spur of the moment decision headed down to new ulm since al and i had never been there. we played rockband all night and were fed amazingly by shane's parents. i also got to see the old farm house that jodi's parents are fixing up to move into. it was a great time and so much fun. our band name was pure xtremedeez... :)

work christmas party

we had our marketing work xmas party at fox run (where i played volleyball last summer) a little bar in the outskirts. it was the best work xmas party ever! the food was great and it led to a few games of 7 14 21 in which i had to take two of the shots and then the biggest game of tippy cup ever! of course al and i were on the winning team!! :) too much fun!
