2025 :: June

 Life has gotten busy and I have gotten way behind on the blog. I am going to catch up by doing a month at a time unless there was a big event. So this will be June except for our week at the lake. 

Trevor had his graduation from 5th grade and elementary school. There were definitely some tears, mostly from me. that same night we worked the concession stands for baseball/softball for our first time. the kids loved it and Al & Matt did our adult shifts. 

Trev's baseball team was featured at the express baseball game so we went to that, then the next day I went to another express game with my gym ladies. 

Al and i got to do our adult fishing day with Matt & Jodi. 

Tova tried vacation bible school with Carsyn at their church and loved it!

We had our annual garage sale. 

We went to lots of garage sales, Trev started middle school band practice, the blue angels came to our airport/neighborhood.

 wednesday (may 28) tova just had soccer practice. 

thursday i organized the PTA area in the basement of the school with Cassie. then tova had a softball game in Eau Claire at 5p and trevor had a baseball game at 630 in Eleva. 

friday i went to get my hair done with jodi and jenny at 11a then we all 3 were able to get lunch together!! it was carsyn's 7th birthday and she had her friend birthday party in which we went to the movie theater to see stitch. 

saturday the kids had their last soccer games of the season at 845 and 945. then we went to abby and jim's house for supper and to play. 

sunday both kids had practice. 

monday trevoor had his safety patrol field trip to the bowling alley which i chaperoned. then tova had a softball game at 630. 

tuesday i worked at jodi's and we celebrated 4 birthdays. then i had lunch with my gym ladies, then trev had a baseball game at 630. 

2025 :: 21/52

 wednesday it rained, Al was off but had a dentist appointment. i cleaned downstairs after my workout. trevor had baseball practice; tova's practices were cancelled. 

thursday i went back to my heart doctor and we're going to keep going on the meds. that night trevor had baseball practice 5-6 then soccer practice with the parents at 6. we had fun and i mostly played goalie. 

friday after school we had lasagna making at mom's house and stayed the night up there. 

saturday trevor and unc-o went to get their hair cut while mom, tova and i went shopping. then we all met at applebees for lunch and grandpa neil met us too. then we played some games before heading home. once home the kids and i went for a bike ride. 

sunday we went to the gym then menards, then we spent the rest of the day 1230-530 working and playing in the yard. 

monday was memorial day so no school. cam and chloe played drums in the parade so we watched that. then we went to the gym and i did my usual "murph" workout. then we had carsyn's birthday party at their house. 

tuesday was back to school and working at jodi's. then trev had a baseball game in elk mound at 7p that just i went to and good thing because it rained.

Wednesday May 14th: after school cassie, liam and elliott brought over their blow up water slide. the kids loved it but it wasn't very warm outside and the hose water was cold so they didn't last long. 

thursday we had a storm/possible tornado coming at us right at school pickup time. they made us parents come into the building even though the storm didn't hit yet. we eventually were able to walk the halls and get our kids (they were in tornado drill mode so sitting in the halls.) then we ran to our car and made it home just before it started raining. we spent the next hour in the basement. all sports things were cancelled. since everythign was cancelled we went over to matt & jodi's for supper and games. 

friday Al was off and trevor had the city wide 5th grade track & field meet at one of the high schools here. Al and i went to watch him. he did great and loved it! Then jodi was off for the afternoon so al and i went to lunch with her then played some darts until we had to pick up the kids. 

saturday the kids both had soccer games; trev at 10 and tova at 1115

sunday tova had softball practice at 11, then we went to the church by our house's fun fest with games and face painting and food and music and a car show. the kids had fun and we saw brooklyn there. then trevor had baseball practice. 

monday i worked at jodi's, al went to work, kids school. that night trevor had a soccer game and a baseball game. we picked up chloe and brought her to her soccer game too. trevor played the first half hour of soccer then we drove over to baseball. he changed uniforms and ate in the car. 

tuesday i worked at jodi's again and it rained.
