2024 :: The Lake

 We had a great week at the lake! The weather wasn't great and wasn't hot, the lake was cold, both kids got a fever 1 day, but we still had so much fun with our cousins. I won the cribbage tournament!!!! I started with Angi as my partner but she had to leave on Tuesday so then I got Uncle Jimmy. Trevor really loves his time with his alaska cousins Hudson and Carson who are a year older and a year younger than him. Tova loves Etta and Leni of course, and my cousin Khloe's boyfriend Nate brought his 8 year old daughter Bristol and tova enjoyed her! Al got to stay all week this year!! He fished, golfed and played cribbage. I enjoy my time with my cousins, reading, and hanging with the babies! 1 year old Conley came over every morning with his momma Eryn and had coffee at our cabin. :) I put on the girls night/champagne party this year and did an 80s theme for those of us who had recently or will recently turn 40. it was fun, with a couple games that turned into flippy cup. we again didn't get out on the boat this year :( but we did go to the bar.

2024 :: 24/52

 wednesday Al was off work. i worked out at 9am, trev had basketball camp 10-12p, Al got an oil change in my car, then we went to try out the boat to make sure it runs and the trailer lights wouldn't work. once we got those up and running (it was a car issue) then it started raining. after an hour or so we were able to get the boat out and it started right up! we went for a a little boat ride then trailered it back up. 

thursday i worked out at 9am and brought tova with me. Al and trev brought the boat up to roberts and met my brother and dad to go golfing and get the boat to my brother since he was gonna pull it up to the week at the lake for us. it was trev's first time golfing and they had a blast! they golfed 18. 

friday was preparing for the lake. we left saturday morning for a week. I'll give the lake it's own post since i have so many pictures. 

2024 :: 23/52

 wednesday was the last day of school. i worked out at 9am, then went to jodi's to sit with the daycare kids while jodi and matt went to chloe's 5th grade graduation (on to middle school next year.) then i helped with the last day of school carnival: set up and i ran the sucker pull station. the kids loved the carnival. then i helped tear down and stayed to pick up the kids from school. 

thursday we had kinsley and i got to sub for my softball team up in woodbury at 815 & 915. 

friday we had kinsley again and trevor started his basketball camp at the high school by our house. Al was off!

saturday i worked out at 915, mom came down then we went up to rice lake to see grandma DeDe and grandpa Rick. we hung out, fished, went for walks, and had yummy pizza! 

sunday Al got forced overtime so he worked 11a-6p. 

monday trev was back to basketball camp. 

tuesday was the same then we went to the altoona library and got started on their summer reading program and activities.

2024 :: 22/52

 Thursday was Carsyn's 6th birthday. Jodi also had a big birthday party at the daycare for all June birthdays so I went over there to hang out, help and bring presents. then i worked out at noon and Al had a dentist appt. after school, tova and i went over to their house to bounce in the bouncey house before they had to leave for big kid sports. 

Friday Al started his weekend of work. we went to the risen's for supper that night for Carsyn's birthday and watched heavy weights with the big kids. 

saturday morning the kids and i ran to festival and the dollar store, then once home it rained almost all day. we tried making oobleck so that was a fun little science experiment. 

sunday the kids and i drove up to mom's house for lasagna making for the lake with uncle jimmy, and maren and her kids. after they left, we played a bit with nana and unc-o, then drove home. 

monday we had Rue, then after school tova and i had carsyn's friend birthday party at her house. they did a craft, bouncey house and had pizza. 

Tuesday trev had safety patrol training before school.
