2023 :: 47/52

wednesday was the day before thanksgiving and the kids didn't have school all week. we went to the park with jodi, her kids and the daycare kids she had. mom came down. we had dinner at matt & jodi's and played games. then Al and i went with jodi and her dad to the vfw after the kids were in bed. 

thursday was thanksgiving and we had it at our house and did the usual lunch meal. Auntie Molly was still here, Auntie Althea came, grandpa peter came, and my dad and brother came down. it was fun and delicious! we watched the packer game too. 

friday i worked out at 9am, Al went hunting 11-3ish, mom and i did a little bit of black friday shopping separately, we watched badger volleyball match, and then at night Al and both his sisters went to see a movie. 

saturday we all packed up and drove to wausau. we stopped at rogalla's tree farm to get pine boughs and ride the horses. the kids loved it as usual! then we went to a thrift store which we found lots of stuff at then had lunch at milwaukee burger. after that we went to Al's cousin Jesse & his wife, Marissa's house to meet up with family and meet their new baby girl, clover. the kids loved their dog, penny, and it was so good to see them, wanda, wendy, keith, jeremy, and casey. once we left there, we drove down to marshfield where we met molly & althea at our little zoo down there to walk around the light display they have. then we drove home. 

sunday it snowed and Al and matt hunted again to try to get a deer but no luck. the kids and i just hung out at home, watched football, cleaned and got ready for school & work the next week. 

monday was back to work, school and Al had PT. molly came back from wausau and we had dinner at cancun with her then watched the vikings game. 

tuesday was the same and trev had basketball practice.

 wednesday it was super nice out! i worked out, did payroll, had pt, cleaned and got some leaves done while the kids were at school & al at work. 

thursday i worked out at 9 then went for a hike with Mona. after school was basketball practice. 

friday we had Rue. 

saturday Al went hunting with matt. auntie molly got into town. the night tova had a fever so we didn't go to wausau on sunday like we were going to. 

sunday tova was fine but we just stayed home. Al went hunting again with matt. 

monday we had rue again. the kids didn't have school all week for thanksgiving. we went to the gym, ran a donation load to hope gospel and shopped there, then had dunkin donuts for a snack. 

tuesday Al didn't have to work so he went hunting again.

 wednesday Al had a dentist appointment and i had PT. 

thursday i worked out at 9 then got to go to breakfast with some of the gym ladies. after school, trev had basketball practice. 

friday we had rue, i worked out at 9am. after school, trev and i took some leaves over to cassie's house and trev & liam shot hoops in their driveway. then Al and tova brought pizza supper over as a thank you for cassie letting us dump our leaves in her woods. then we went to matt & jodi's house to watch the badger volleyball match. 

saturday, Al and trevor went with matt, cam, matt's dad, and jodi's dad on a guys trip to see a friend of matt & al's high school football team play in the championship game. me, tova, jodi, chloe and carsyn had a girls day. we got starbucks, went to a craft sale and had lunch. 

sunday we watched football and then went to kassie dunbars house for her birthday. we ate a little, played left right center and had cake. 

monday was school, work, Al had PT, and i worked at jodi's in the morning, payroll in the afternoon. 

tuesday was the same & trev had basketball practice.

Thursday after the kids were at school & Al at work, I had my appointment with Al's surgeon, the orthopedic doctor, and he told me no surgery for my knee. that was a relief. but he said it's because my knee is in bad shape as it is and even if he put 100 stitches in my meniscus it wouldn't heal... So just more PT and being smart and careful with my knee. knowing a full knee replacement is in my future somewhere. that night trev had a football game at 6pm. 

friday i worked out at 9am and got to have lunch with jodi since matt was back from work in time for her to sneak out for a bit. 

saturday was our 12th anniversary! mom came down, i worked out at 915 then Al and i left for the day. we went to some thrift stores out of town and had an early dinner before coming back home. 

sunday we all went over to matt & jodi's house for soup and bloody mary's and to watch football. 

monday Al had PT and an appointment with his surgeon for followup and all is going well. i worked at jodi's in the morning and did payroll in the afternoon. 

tuesday trevor had his first basketball practice for his first ever official team for basketball. i worked at jodi's, kids had school and Al worked.
