2021 :: 19/52

monday and tuesday were back to work for Al and me, school for trev, and jodi's for Tova.

wednesday morning, tova and i went to jodi's house because our friend jenny came there with her daughter Klare, and jenny cut tova's, carsyn's and chloe's hair. then during naptime, trevor and i went out on his friend liam's grandparents pontoon on the river right by our house. it was a gorgeous day and we had fun! then after supper, i went to camdyn's baseball game (trevor didn't want to go.)

thursday, Al, tova and i went garage saling and found a few good things. after supper, i went to chloe's softball game with jodi and carsyn.

friday Al was back to work for teh weekend and tova and i ran some errands and hit a few more garage sales but didn't find much. tova's allergies are crazy right now, especially after she wakes up from nap, her eyes are red and swollen, so we didn't spend much time outside.

saturday morning the kids and i packed up and headed to mom's house. once there, we unloaded, had snack, then mom came with us to my cousin sara's house to meet her 4 month old baby, Elliot. we are smitten with him especially Tova. then back to mom's house for lunch. during tova's nap, trevor and i met jodi, luke and henrik at a playground which was fun but hot! after supper, us 3, mom, and tyler met my cousin aryn and her son camden at a park for a bit and played and threw the frisbee around. then back to mom's for bath and i headed out to shane and jodi's house for a bonfire.

sunday morning, i dropped off some books for some friends, stopped at dad's house to look at shelves, and then we packed up. we went to my high school friend, amy's new house to play for a bit. amy has 4 kids, 5 and under, including a baby which tova loved. the kids had so much fun playing together and it was nice to chat with amy. then we headed home for nap/quiet time. sunday night was spent prepping veggies for the week and cleaning house and puzzles and dance parties.

monday was school for trevor, jodi's for tova and i, and errands for Al.

Tuesday was Star Wars day!! trev had school, tova and i went to jodi's and Al stayed home. during naptime, i set up for the garage sale. after school pickup, we all went to our amish greenhouse and we got to see the peacock with his feathers out! we got a bunch of flowers and veggies and herbs, then drove home for supper, baths, and bedtime.

the rest of the week was garage sale prep and having the garage sale. Al was off Friday-Sunday. we opened the garage sale for a bit thursday night and did pretty well. then jodi, kassie and i ran it all day friday and did good, not as great/busy as we had hoped but we got rid of a lot of stuff! the big kids all walked here after school so it was a bit crazy here friday night, but fun!

saturday morning, kassie and i opened up the garage sale for a couple hours and it was pretty slow. then we packed everything up, took a large load to donate, had naps/quiet time, and then headed out to the stone barn for the first time of the season. it was a little chilly out so it wasn't very busy which was nice. the kids played soccer and we enjoyed the pizza! matt, jodi, their kids, and jake, kassie and their kids joined us. then we were all exhausted!

sunday was mother's day! we had a slow morning and mom came down (she had just gotten back from florida on saturday.) we got ice cream at olson's and had fun!

2021 :: 17/52

Tuesday was work, school and jodi's! we finally got the daycare kids outside to play before it rained! i started not feeling well from my 2nd vaccine shot at the end but it was short lived. but i was really tired so we didn't do much the rest of the night and Al came home a little early with a migraine.

wednesday morning i went to a garage sale with jodi and then came back and the kids and i walked to the park and met jodi and the daycare kids there. we stayed for 1.5 hours and had snack there. while we were there, Al did a bunch of errands then came back and he and trevor took all our leaf bags in since the place was finally open! during naptime, i ran to a couple of garage sales then to the grocery store. at 5 jodi and carsyn came to get me and we went to a newly opened garage sale then back home for supper. it was fun having just jodi and carsyn here (the other 3 were at the brewers game.)

Thursday morning after school drop off, Al, Tova and i spent the morning garage saling. there were so many!! we found some good stuff; Al to sell, me for the kids (mine, jodi's and maren's.)

friday was supposed to be Al's only day to work for the weekend but he hurt his back so he had to call in sick. we garage saled for a little bit again and then spent the day and night at home.

saturday morning we packed up and headed to wausau for Al's cousin jesse's wedding. we stopped at a couple garage sales, played at a park, had lunch and ice cream and then checked into the hotel. it was 80 degrees and sunny out! we rested for a bit then got ready and headed down to the wedding (it was at the hotel.) then it was cocktail hour which was hard for the kids to wait for food and dancing; they were so excited to dance. we ate, had dessert and they danced a bunch before we headed to bed about 830. Tova didn't leave the dance floor but didn't really dance to the music mostly just did her ballerina moves. :) Trevor did his normal jumping dance moves; he was a little shy to dance at first.

sunday morning we woke up, had a light breakfast, then went swimming. the pool was nice and warm and the sun was shining in on it. then back to the room for baths and packing up. we stopped at aunt wendy's house for a second to drop off jars and got to see some emu and a peacock on the ride there. we then took some back roads for a bit before getting back on the highway. once home we unpacked and relaxed.

monday was school for trev, jodi's for tova and me, and it was Al's day off so he did some errands. i started setting up for the garage sale we're having the coming friday.
