2021 :: 15/52

 Tuesday was cold still; work and school for us all. 

wednesday Al was off work; we all went to a couple garage sales in the morning after Trevor did his math worksheets. trevor had his meeting at 2 again and after nap, matt, Jodi, and the kids came over for wing night and an early celebration for Al's birthday. it was a fun night; the kids played outside for a bit. 

thursday i walked trevor to school then Al, Tova and i went garage saling and we found some good ones! i found a good one for Maren's oldest daughter Tula's size, then we found 2 across the street from each other that were jackpots for Al. he got 2 pair of shoes, a bunch of nice shirts, a pair of sweat pants, a pair of hunting bibs, and 2 fishing poles. then we found a couple with the next size up pants for trevor, new winter boots for Trev, and a couple of things for Tova. it was a good morning for sales! then during naptime Al went to see grandpa peter while i did laundry. after nap, the kids and i went outside for a bit but Trevor fell on his bike twice. then supper and bath time. 

friday was Al's birthday and he had to get up early to take Gpa Peter to his surgery. after school drop off we went garage saling but didn't find much and then we went and got Trevor's bigger bed. during naptime, i switched trevor's room around and got his headboard, frame and new bed in and made. after school pickup, i got the changing table, crib, and chair out of Tova's room and put Trevor's old headboard, frame, and twin bed in her room. then Al chose Erberts and Gerberts for supper. then we had angel food cake and whipped cream and sung to him. the kids did great in their new beds and were so excited for them. tova did great in her bed both for nights and naptime.

saturday Al was back to work and mom came down for the day. in the morning, the kids, mom and i went to a couple garage sales then we drove out to our favorite little thrift store where we found a few things. after nap, we played outside until nana had to go then the kids and i went hiking with matt, jodi and carsyn. we did 2.5 miles and it was nice out! then we came home to potty and grab a few things, pick up Al, and went to matt & jodi's for a grill out with them and jodi's parents. 

sunday was a relax at home day for the kids and i. preparing for a busy next week. 

monday Al was off work, i got trev to school then tova and i went to jodi's to work for the morning. during nap, Al went to get grandpa peter since he was able to come home. after school, trevor's friend who lives just down the street and is in his class, Aaliyah came over to play for a bit. then we had supper and played games/puzzles until pj time.

 tuesday i got trevor to school then tova and i walked to jodi's again. it was hot and humid out so we played outside at jodi's after snack. tova fell and busted her lip on jodi's driveway and scraped her kneed a bit. then we walked home and had to turn the a/c on for the first time (on April 6th!) it thunderstormed and rained right at school pick up and then rained off and on all night. 

wednesday Al was back to work, the kids and i hung out at home and did trevor's school work then played inside and did crafts because it rained all day. 

it rained thursday and friday too and was chilly. tova and i did stop at a couple of garage sales but didn't find much. friday morning i went to jodi's at 8 am to sit with the kids until she got back and then brought trevor to school. then Al, tova and i ran errands and stopped at a couple garage sales. 

saturday Al had to work since he switched shifts so he could have his birthday off (which is also grandpa peter's surgery day.) in the morning, Al's co-worker Jimmy's wife Abby and her 2 kids came over to play. Abby has Tyler who is 1 year younger than trevor but they get along so well, and McKenzie who is just older than Tova but is a little peanut compared to our giant Tova. :) Abby went through the clothes i'm selling from the kids and her kids are exactly one size smaller then mine so it works out great! they left about lunch time so we had lunch, nap/quiet time, and then just played around home. it was cold out so we didn't get outside. 

sunday morning Al took the kids over to gpa peter's house for the whole morning so i got so much done around the house!! 

monday was work for Al, school for Trev, jodi's for tova and i. in the afternoon, i switched some things around in the kids' rooms to prepare for getting Trevor's bigger bed and giving his single bed to Tova.

2021 :: 13/52

 tuesday the kids and i played and cleaned and packed to get ready for our staycation on wednesday. 

Al was off wednesday and thursday (although he had court at 3pm wednesday.) i ran to the grocery store in the morning, a package came from gma DD which contained Al's old game boy and an old doll for tova. trevor loved playing the game boy. we packed, had lunch, nap, packed the car, and then once Al was home we drove to a hotel here in eau claire that has a pool. matt, jodi and the kids came too. we had adjoining rooms. we swam for about an hour, ordered supper which we ate in the breakfast area, then hung out in our rooms. kids watched a movie then we all went to bed about 9ish. in the morning, jodi had to go home to work, but the rest of us had continental breakfast, packed up a bit, then went swimming again. then showered the kids, packed up and we went to a couple garage sales. 

thursday after nap, we played outside. 

friday morning, the kids and i picked up jodi and chloe and went to a couple garage sales (matt was home with other kids.) then we ran some errands, picked up nana at our house, and met jodi and her kids & daycare kids at a park. it was a beautiful day and the kids had fun at the park. friday after nap, we played outside and kids made homemade pizza with nana for supper.

saturday was gorgeous! sunny and 70s. we went hiking with the risen's and nana saturday morning. during naptime, mom and i read outside in the sun, then we started our easter supper. it was also grandpa peter's 70th birthday. for easter supper we had, us, nana, unc-o, grandpa peter, auntie althea and Al got home from work whiel we were eating. we had presents and pie for gpa's birthday and then gpa and althea left. after bed, nana, unc-o and i played games. 

sunday was easter again and the kids were so excited that the easter bunny had come. they got their baskets and did their egg hunt and ate too much candy. unc-o left shortly after breakfast and we went outside after that. it was gorgeous out again. mom left at nap time, and kids and i went back outside after nap. 

monday was back to school for trevor, and back to jodi's for tova and i. we had an easter party at jodi's and did the easter egg hunt outsidde and then played outside the rest of the morning. it was 80 degrees out in the afternoon. i got my first vaccine dose during nap time and Al grilled burgers for us for supper. we got to eat outside and played outside until bath time.
