2020 :: 6/52 :: Trevor is 6

Trevor: he loves to tell jokes and make people laugh, he's into saying "butt" with everything, he loves school and says his favorite part is playing with his friends, there are so many kids at pick up and drop off that know him, he loves math and learning to read, he's very into star wars even more so now that dada has let him watch some of the movies, he can be so helpful with his sister and plays well with her when he wants to, he likes his swimming lessons and basketball practice, he loves playing in the snow,

Tuesday we were all feeling better, just weak. trevor went back to school; he was excited to go on his birthday! and al went back to work. once Al was home from work, trevor opened his presents from us.

Wednesday and Thursday, Al was off work. I went to Jodi's at nap time to sit with the napping kids while she had a quick meeting at the school.

Thursday I picked trevor up early from school so he could go to his 6 year check up with our beloved pediatrician dr Sarumi who is finally back and at a new building/company. the appointment went well and we are so so so thankful dr Sarumi is back; we love her! trevor is perfectly healthy! his weight is in the 96 percentile (mostly due to his height) and his height is way above the charts! after his appointment, we went to target so trevor could spend his birthday money and pick out his toys. he picked a new nerf gun, a treasure chest, and an outside shooter thing. Trevor had some bad smelly burps all afternoon and night. he ended up puking at 11 pm and having to sit on the potty at 2 am too. he was feeling fine in the morning but had to stay home from school due to the 24 hour after puking rule.

mom came down on Friday afternoon and walked with me to pick up trevor from school.

Saturday morning trevor had swimming lessons while mom stayed home with tova. we played outside for a bit after nap time and went for a little walk but it was only in the 20s so it was a little chilly. mom left just before supper due to us getting snow on sunday.

sunday we stayed in most of the day while it snowed. we worked on our valentine's and played games. we went out to shovel after nap time but trevor was extra grumpy so we didn't last long.

2020 :: 5/52

Tova: she's talking so much and copies everything that her brother does. he favorite sayings are "no way" "tova do it" she name the shows she wants to watch especially elmo. she says "careful" a lot and it sound so cute how she says it (the r is almost a w sound), she loves sesame street and frozen characters & books, she runs on her tiptoes with small little steps and will usually say "run" as she's running, she is just now able to get the tiniest bit of air when she jumps, still loves wearing "gassies" glasses, she says "happy to you" for happy birthday so we hear lots of "happy to you brother" this month, she has a cute intake of air when she's excited to see something, she still loves to swing, when she wants your help she says "help you", she likes to swim in the tub with her brother, she pees on the potty every time we put her on it, she loves to go in her room, close the door, and sit in her chair with books, she says "right back" when she's going in to another room, she likes to pretend to sleep (will shut her eyes and "snore"),

Al was off Monday and Tuesday. Monday morning I ran errands, then after lunch I had my first session at the small gym right by our house. then Al and I both had chiropractor appointments; tova went with us. it felt great for both of us but Al has to go back due to his tweaked back and popped hamstring. then I walked and picked up trevor from school.

Tuesday morning I got to help chaperone trevor field trip to the children's museum. it was fun and I met and talked with a couple moms. one in particular, Christy, I had just met and chatted with and her and I ended up going to lunch/coffee after the bus with the kids left. it was fun and she's super nice! then I came back, finished my book and walked to pick up trevor. for supper, we went to hangar 54 since it was 99 cent kids meal night and we had trevor's $25 gift card he won at the basketball game to use! we hadn't been there in a long time so it was delicious! then home for bath, a show, books and bed.

Thursday morning, Tova and I went and played at Jodi's house.

Friday morning mom came down for birthday activities. mom and I went and had lunch with trevor at school. then Friday night was our annual adults only dinner out for my and Jodi's birthdays. we went to a fancy restaurant (me, al, Jodi, matt, jake, Kassie, Emily, joe, Jodi's dad dan-o, jenny, leah) and then walked around a bit for a drink at other bars. it was fun but we were showing our age: yawning by 830 and home by 1030 :])

early Saturday morning tova puked in her bed a couple of times. but once she was up she was feeling fine so we still had family over for trevor's birthday that morning. it was my mom, my dad, my brother, and al's dad. trevor had a good time and got lots of good presents! tova ended up puking one more time while they were here. :( everyone but mom left after lunch. we decided to still have trevor's friend party at the indoor sports center even though some of our friends couldn't come because they were puking/had norovirus too (all kids that were at Jodi's on Thursday morning, dang thing is so contagious.) trevor had lots of fun even though it was only Jodi, Camdyn, chloe, kade, al, trevor and I (Carsyn and matt came at the end.) we played in the bounce house and played adults vs kids soccer.

sunday was beautiful outside: 40+ degrees!! Tova, mom and I went for a little walk then Trevor and Al joined us outside to play until lunch time. mom left after lunch. after nap, we went over to matt & Jodi's to watch the super bowl. Al just sat in the chair the whole time and didn't eat anything. once we got home at 7, Al puked and went to bed. at 11p trevor woke up and had puked a ton in his bed. Al said he puked a bunch until about midnight. trevor puked again at 2am but didn't puke again after that although did have a "juicy toot" as he called it. I ended up puking at 7 am and was on a toilet a bunch that morning. mom, tyler and grandpa peter ended up getting it too. :(

Al stayed home from work on Monday and trevor stayed home from school. we spent Monday recovering; we could barely be upright. trevor and al took 4 hour naps.
