2019 :: 36/52 :: First day of Kindergarten

Tuesday once Al was awake, Trevor and I went to his school orientation. we met his teacher, saw his classroom, dropped off his school supplies, got his school picture taken, and walked around the school a bit. after nap, all 4 of us drove up to rice lake to grandma DD and grandpa Rick's camp to fish and have dinner. it was windy but we had fun! it was a great night and delicious food!

Wednesday was Trevor's first day of school! we had lots of friends at drop off (Jodi & kids, Leah & kids inc Cole who's in trevor's class, Laura and her 2 boys inc luke who's in kindergarten too) so that made it easier on us. trevor waited by me/us until it was time to get in line then he patiently watched his teacher and walked in behind cole without looking back. I only cried a little before being distracted by our friends! tova and I walked with them all until they were all home then we went for a good long walk which ended in tova picking up acorns. we played in the porch for a bit then went to the library. home for lunch, to see Al, nap for tova, workout, shower and grocery run for me before Al went to work and tova woke up. then we played a bit and walked to get trevor.

Thursday Trevor didn't have school so we went to the apple orchard again. we had fun there and there were only a couple other kids there.

Friday trevor had school again (the first day with his whole class) and tova and I walked back to Jodi's with her and the daycare kids + Carsyn to play for a bit.

Saturday morning we all piled into the car and Al took us to elk mound where we found a castle and a park to play at. after nap we had a bonfire and played outside. then inside for supper, baths, a movie and I went out with trina and steph for a little girls night.

sunday morning, I headed to the cities to manda's house to watch the Vikings game with manda, johnny, Christy, kim and Nancy. it was fun! I drove back home after the game and made it in time for supper which grandpa peter had brought over and ate with the kids and Al. then some cleaning, playing and bedtime.

2019 :: 35/52 :: Tova 18 months

Monday we just relaxed and by supper time tova really wasn't feeling well, started doing the weird breathing thing again and still had fevers so I decided to take her in to urgent care. I dropped trevor off at grandpa peter's house and we went in. we were there for almost 2 hours... and they didn't find anything. no ear infection, no strep, no urine problems, a red throat but that was it. so we went home. that night she woke up crying every 45 minutes to an hour. I got one hour of sleep before Al got home at 3am. Al took the monitor once home and I got 3 hours of sleep. I called the nurses line but Tova's fever had spiked way up again and they said since it'd been 4 days I should bring her in to a pediatrician. I also had Carsyn that morning (Carsyn napped early and I kept them away from each other.) Al stayed up to watch trevor and Carsyn (he called in to work the night.) they didn't find anything at the peds; we went to a new one and she was ok. she thought tova maybe had an ear infection just starting but.....

Tuesday was just laying around the house; by the evening Al and I both had developed the chills/sweaty hotness. we both broke our fevers once in bed but we felt crappy. Wednesday was more of the same but Al I didn't feel very good either. trevor and I ran to the library quick when I was feeling ok but I didn't feel good shortly after we left so we came right home. then we all went for a drive to get slushies for our throats but other than that, we stayed in and laid low.

Thursday morning we felt a bit better, but trevor started not feeling well. it was another at home day.

Friday Al went back to work and he felt decent. the kids and I went up to mom's house, tova napped up there and trevor felt/acted pretty well but we were mostly just in the car. after nap, mom and us 3 drove up to maple grove for a family get together since my cousin Torie, her husband Tyler and their son Hugh (who's 5 days younger than Tova) were in town from Alaska. it was at a super cool big park. just after we got there, maren took some of the big kids to the big park including trevor. after a bit, I went to check on trevor and he was just slowly walking around the park and didn't look good. he came back to the hang out area with me and just laid on a quilt, covered in a blanket and didn't want to eat. so we left shortly after that; we drove over an hour in traffic to get there, then only stayed 1.5 hours, and then another 45 minute drive back to mom's house. but it was good to see everyone and for tova and hugh to meet.

Saturday morning we headed home and then trevor took a nap. after that he was feeling better and so were the rest of us.

mom came down sunday morning since it was labor day weekend and we tried going to the apple orchard, but we didn't last long cuz trevor got tired/didn't feel well.

Monday trevor was finally feeling better although still weak/tired. mom headed home about lunch time (we did go for a walk in the morning and played at the little park for a bit), Al didn't work, we played in the backyard a bit, and hung out.
