2019 :: 32/52

Monday night we had grandpa peter over for supper.

Tuesday was trevor's last wrestling in the morning. at night we went to cancun with Jodi and the kids, then matt met us at the beach in eau Claire & the kids swam.

Wednesday we walked up to sam davey playground and met Jodi & the kids there to play for a bit.

Thursday we went to the library and a couple of garage sales. the kids and I played in the backyard both wed and thurs after nap until supper time so that I could get our mulch area weeded. the kids helped a bit, especially trevor! they played in the pool and on the swing set too.

Friday we had our follow up house test from focus on energy regarding the insulation we had put in. then we had lunch and packed up to go to door county. it was our annual weekend there with the Dixon's (Al's friend pat from high school and his family: Christy, billy 4.5 and Joey 1.5.) we arrived before the Dixon's so we unpacked and then headed to the pool.

Saturday morning after breakfast, we all went to peninsula state park so the kids could swim at the beach. Pat's dad Don and his wife Joanne were staying there in their RV so we went and had lunch at their camp site. then back to the condo for naps for the littles while the dad's took trevor and billy fishing in the marina right outside the condo. after naps, we all went to the pool until supper time. Don and Joanne came over for a swim and supper too.

neither night got us much sleep. both tova and joey woke up crying multiple times and the walls are paper thin so we all heard them. and joey loves opening and closing doors, so once joey was up, we all were up.

sunday morning we had breakfast at the condo, packed up while the kids played and then went to our favorite market that has samples of lots of things, cute home décor, and a playground for the kids. after that we took off while the Dixon's stayed. the drive home was long since tova didn't nap in the car and cried lots...

 Trevor turned 5.5 years old this week!!

Tova turned 17 months this week!!

Monday trevor had his last soccer.

Tuesday trevor had wrestling in the morning and his last t ball at night. After wrestling, we met Jodi and the kids at a park.

Al was off wed & thurs. on Wednesday we all packed up and drove to Osceola to jenny's parents house. we met jenny and her 3 girls there. they have a pool and we stayed by the pool all day/afternoon; tova ended up taking a 3 hour nap there. we left about 4 and stopped by the big Osceola waterfall before heading to mom's house. it was a great day and we all got a little sunburned (other than tova.) by the end of the pool time trevor was jumping into the deep end on his own.

Thursday morning the 4 of us and mom went to the Washington county fair (our favorite fair) for family fun day. we met mona, ollie and lucy there again this year. it was hot but we had fun. mona had gotten advance, cheaper tickets for the rides for the kids so trevor got to go on a bunch of rides! we headed home right from the fair so that tova could nap in the car and she did.

Friday morning we went to carson park with Jodi and the kids and jenny and her girls. it was really hot and tova was a bit whiney so we didn't stay too long but it was fun. the kids and I just stayed home and relaxed the rest of the day.

Saturday morning we ran to a couple garage sales and then unc-o came down for a bit. that night, Jodi, chloe and Carsyn came over for supper then we went with them to family fun night downtown eau Claire. there wasn't too much there and we made it just in between 2 rain storms so we didn't stay too long.

sunday morning the kids and I packed up and went to mom's house. we played outside, lunched, tova napped, played with nana & unc-o, then I had softball at 6&7. it was humid but we won both and I hit well.

Monday morning we headed home early to see Al.
