Tuesday was super humid again. Trevor had wrestling in the morning and it was the first time I brought Tova with. she did great (there's other little siblings there and a few toys) until the last 10 minutes which is the most fun to watch Trevor during. Trevor's getting better at wrestling and his confidence in doing so! then home to see Al before he had to work (this was day 2 of his 7 day working stretch due to rock fest.) Trevor had t ball after supper; we thought we were gonna get rained on again, but we didn't.
Wednesday was Al's first rock fest shift so he had to work 6p-6a so we got to see him a little bit. the kids and I had sinus/allergy stuff and it was really hot so we didn't go to soccer.
Thursday morning the kids and I went to go school supply shopping but it was so nice out that we went to one of the parks on our summer to do list first. it was a fun park and had a little nature path near it so we walked down that. we also found a mini monarch caterpillar munching on some milk weed. then we went to target and got trevor's school supply list. Al worked 6p-6a again.
Friday Al got home at 630a and had to work at 3p so we didn't get to see him much. I had all 3 Risen kids until about 2; we had fun! I was supposed to go to a comedy show with my friends but a big storm came thru (really hit Al's county) so I cancelled and we went over to matt & Jodi's since I don't do well with storms. then home for bed time.
Saturday morning the kids and I went up to the cities. we stopped by my dad's to pick raspberries but we got rained on after picking like 4 raspberries. mom didn't have any power all day so we stayed at dad's until lunch time then went to mom's for a dark lunch and nap. mom's power came back on about 5p and we just hung out there since mom was leaving at 3am for Colorado for a week.
sunday was our busy day! in the morning we went over to maren's house and went to their cool waterfall splash pad, then back to her house for lunch and nap for tova. while tova napped there, trevor and I went to Luke's 5th birthday party (Shane & Jodi's oldest) that was really close to maren's house. we had fun at the party! then back to pick up tova, drive back to mom's, and mom's neighbor maria came over to watch the kids while I played softball at 4 & 5. it was an early bedtime for all of us.
Monday morning we headed back home but stopped at a new park that was recommended to us in Hudson Wisconsin. it was fun and a gorgeous day but tova ran into another kid and fell flat on her back. after that she wouldn't let me put her down so we headed home. Al was off finally! so we woke him up once we got home. tova had diarrhea most of the day and trevor had soccer. we had early bedtimes again for tired kids and momma.
