2018 :: 23/52

Tova: she started really rolling from back to side especially in bed, she'd sleep on her side and by the next time i'd go in there or check on her she'd be in a completely different spot/direction, started getting toys in her mouth, getting bored with her usual seats, put her in the jumper for the first time and she liked it and did great holding her head up, she was super tired sunday and Monday slept a lot and didn't stay awake her usual 2 hours,

we had our garage sale with matt & Jodi and Jake & Kassie. we had it at our house so that took up most of our time. I started setting it up Tuesday afternoon; Jake and kade came during it and jake helped while Trevor and Kade played and tova napped. Al was off Wed & Thurs so he helped then. mom came down Tuesday night, worked in Wisconsin rapids Wednesday, and then worked from our house Thursday and Friday so she could help with kids and the garage sale.

Wednesday I finished setting up; jake & kids, and Jodi and girls came over about 11 to finish setting up and then we opened about 1-5p. we had a good first day but less traffic than we'd hoped the next 2 days. Jodi, matt and their 3 kids :) stayed for supper (Al made pulled pork), watch a little America's got talent, and then we all had early bed times.

Thursday jake & kids and Jodi and kids were here at 8 to open the garage sale so the kids played while we all worked and watched kids/babies. the neighb's left at 1 to go to Camdyn's school carnival for his last day of school and came back about 3.

Friday rained before 7 am so I opened the garage sale myself while mom watched my kids, then jake & kids came, and later Jodi and kids. Friday was a bit hectic as the kids were all exhausted and not getting along great, Al had to sleep in cuz he had to work and we didn't get as many customers as we'd hoped. at about 445 Kassie got here and we started packing everything up. we packed all the kid stuff together since there was so much left, we're gonna try for another sale in the fall. so jake and I hauled it all to our basement to store then they all left. I finished putting some stuff down stairs, moved cars back front, and picked up our signs. we each made just over $200 and did $708 for the whole garage sale in 2.5 days. not bad but we would have liked to get rid of more stuff! Friday night we were all exhausted!

Saturday morning trevor and I made a pancake breakfast and afterwards, I ran to a couple garage sales (found a great one for trevor's next 2 sizes!) while mom played with trevor & tova napped, then got a few more things done before mom headed home. after lunch, tova took a 3.5 hour nap, trevor a 2 hour nap, and I got a little nap in too. tova was tired pretty much all day, only staying awake a max of 1.5 hours when she usually does 2 hours. but I did bring the jumper up and try her in it and she seemed to like it. she's been getting bored in her different spots lately so hopefully the jumper will help with that. Al worked 4a-4p so the kids and I just hung out and took it easy.

sunday morning the kids and I headed out to mom's house for softball. we played outside some until lunch and nap for tova, trevor just laid in mom's bed and watched a movie instead of napping. I played softball at 4 & 5 and we won both! I did ok. tova napped for a long time so mom and the kids didn't come. I grabbed a burger at the fields after the game, went to mom's to feed tova, packed up and we headed home. the right to bed for trevor and shortly after, tova, then me! we were tired!!!

Monday morning was trevor's first day of his summer activity classes, this week is soccer/basketball. so Monday was soccer and trevor loved it! he did so good with his listening, taking turns, keeping his hands to himself, and kicking the ball. he's so much better at all that than last year! after class, I fed tova, we grabbed lunch, then dropped tova at home to nap since she wouldn't during soccer (she was out and Al was home), then trevor and I met Jodi, matt and the kids at the new park that just opened. we ate our picnic lunch then played for a while; it's a pretty cool park but super busy. then we had ice cream with our friends before heading home for nap. trevor was out right away. I had a chiro appointment that was much needed and once I got back, we got trevor up and Tova woke up too. then Al mowed the lawn, we played, tova took another nap, then we went to the neighb's for a grill out.

2018 :: 22/52 :: Tova 3 months

Tova: slept through the night twice this week!, started taking naps with both arms out of her swaddle, rolled from her back to her side once, got back to taking 45 minute or less naps (had a couple days where she would wake up crying after 20 minutes but put herself back to sleep once she found her thumb to suck on), she saw, reached for & grabbed a toy, she still eats for only about 7 minutes at a time and poops almost every time she eats still, switched to longer awake times during the day (about 2 hours) so she went down from 5 naps to 3 (a short one 45 minutes, a long one about 2 hours 45 minutes, and then another short one 45 minutes), she scooches a little now using her feet & legs usually to the side but will push off my legs on the floor too, seemed a little off sunday and Monday and that's when she started putting toys in her mouth, she had rosie cheeks on Monday but no fever so possibly her teeth were moving,

Monday night Tova slept through the night! she just woke up at 610a to eat and then went back to sleep until 8 am!

Tuesday was hot out again so we didn't do much. the kids and i ran the mortgage check in in the morning, then Al and trevor went outside to mow the lawn (but trevor didn't last long out there; it was hot and he was sweaty.) Tova had her first successful 2 arm out of the swaddle nap! she also got her first braid. :) Unc-o sent trevor a new sprinkler so we did try that out a bit in the afternoon.

Wednesday Al worked 3p-3a and Jodi had her baby that night! Miss Carsyn Kay was born at 647p with barely one push.

Thursday Al worked 6p-6a. at naptime i was able to do some garage saling (didn't find much) and got to meet baby Carsyn and give her the quilt I've been working on for her.

Friday was quite a bit cooler than it's been so after i fed tova and made our breakfast smoothies, the kids and i went for a nice long walk with a stop at the smaller park near our house towards the end. while we were at the park, i saw 3 garage sales, so we walked home to grab my wallet and then walked back to the garage sales. it was muggy out and the sun had just come out as we were getting home, so we were hot (including tova in her carseat.) then we came back home to play, had an early lunch, and trevor was asleep for nap by 1230 (unheard of!) Al got up during naptime, so i was able to mow the edges and weed the garden before trevor got up and they joined me outside. Al did the weed wacker on the edges i couldn't get, helped get the sod out of the garden areas i had previously dug for our pumpkins and strawberries, got the top soil and manure in there, and i was able to plant our 2 strawberry plants in there. trevor and i also planted our hummingbird and butterfly flower mix and some different lettuce. then we all had showers, ate supper and watched a movie.

Saturday morning once Al was awake we played outside in the backyard for a bit between rain showers (it was 60 degrees out and wonderful!). I tried tova on the schedule I had trevor on at this age (thanks to this blog I know what that was) and it worked! she was awake for 2 hours, took a short nap, then awake from almost 2 hours again and took an almost 3 hour nap!!! matt brought their stuff over for the garage sale so I have the tables and can start setting up on Tuesday. after naps (trevor didn't nap) we went next door for Abbie's graduation party. we were over there for about an hour and mark carried tova most of the time so she was part of the welcoming committee. :) we met the old couple who lives across the street from mark and Jackie, and the family we bought our house from was there so they were asking questions about the house. trevor was a hit with everyone, too, as he was running around and playing ball. :)

sunday morning after breakfast, all 4 of us drove up to mom's house. we made our lasagna for the lake, played a bit, trevor didn't nap, we had supper, then I played softball at 6&7. we drove home after softball since Al needed to sleep in since he worked Monday night. mom and trevor came to the first game (trevor was tired but still ran around a lot) and Tova seemed a little off so Al and her stayed at mom's. Tova only took a short nap and wouldn't take a bottle at all this time. so I fed her quick after softball and we headed out. as exhausted as Trevor was he was a bit of a chatty cathy at first for the first 25 minutes or so, then both he and tova were out. Al was able to transfer Trevor into bed successfully but Tova didn't sleep once I got her in the crib, so I fed her again and then she was out.

Monday morning we were still pretty exhausted but we went over to jenny's to play for a bit. Tova napped in Klare's crib, trevor had fun playing with Kourtlyn, and then once Tova was up, klare went down. we came home and had lunch, trevor looked really tired, Al got up and put him down (he took a 2 hour nap), and then I went to the grocery store. after nap, we played with Al a bit then once Al left for work, we got ready to go to Camdyn's baseball game. it was a beautiful night to watch baseball, there was a wind but it was warm and somewhat sunny. Trevor was a super good listener at the baseball game so after supper he got a treat, an ice cream push up.
