2017 :: 49/52

Tuesday Trevor and I did a bunch of stuff around the house both playing and cleaning/organizing. until Al got up, when T played with him and then we had lunch and nap. that night T and I went over to matt & Jodi's house for supper and then we all hopped in their van and drove around looking at Christmas lights. Al worked 7p-330a and then at 11a the next morning so we barely saw him.

we were all feeling a little off the beginning of this week and then the end of the week was just me. I starting getting chills and then sweating at night; I eventually called the midwives and they said it's probably just hormones. we all got little scratchy throats too but that was probably the change in weather; cold and snowy.

Al was off Friday-sunday this week! Friday night we were picked up by the neighb's, did dinner at a new to us Mexican restaurant in Chippewa, then walked around Irvine park to see all the Christmas lights. it was fun and beautiful and it snowed on us while we were walking around (which we loved!)

Saturday morning we all drove up to mom's house for Christmas cookie making which included tyler, maren, tula and etta! it was fun and we made lots of cookies. we headed home shortly after 4 and Trevor slept the whole way home.

sunday, Trevor and Al went to the grocery store then we watched football during nap time (even tho T didn't nap). then just played, ate supper, and watched a movie before an early bedtime.

sunday overnight it snowed some more, so once Al was up and we were done with breakfast, Trevor and Al went outside to shovel and play in the snow. I did some cleaning and sewing. Al worked at 3p.

this week was a bit rough for me; I didn't feel well most of the week and had the weird hormone stuff that manifested at night as chills or sweating. also, some not being able to control my body temperature during the day. I re-read this week from Trevor's pregnancy and I have the same sleeping issues I had then of being uncomfortable and being awake for hours in the middle of the night. I've still had heartburn this week but either it's not as bad as it's been or it's being overshadowed by the chills/sweating. but by Monday I was feeling better so hopefully that stays. I've gained about 26 pounds which is only 3 more than at this point with Trevor but I feel huge and am wanting my body back to eat regular and workout. but i'm going to try to enjoy these last 11 weeks of pregnancy!

2017 :: 48/52

this week the weather was decent. Tuesday morning we went over to Jodi's to play in the morning. Wednesday morning, trevor woke up complaining of a tummy ache and continued off and on all day. we ran a few errands in the morning then came home and relaxed. Wednesday night we went over to the neighb's house for an early supper for matt's 40th birthday and trevor wasn't acting himself. we came home to watch a movie and he ended up getting a fever. he didn't sleep great that night.

Thursday Trevor didn't feel well all day, had a fever, not eating much and just kind of run down. he was yawning by 10 am and ended up taking a 4 hour nap. he felt a bit better after that and played a little that night and slept great. then Friday morning woke up with no fever and feeling good.

Friday I ran errands by myself and then we had lunch and tried for a nap (which didn't happen) before driving to nana's house. we just hung out at nana's house for supper, a bath for T, and an early bed time (even though he woke up 3 times before midnight with weird cough/crying fits, but once I gave him Tylenol, he slept the rest of the night. I think it was fevers causing it).

Saturday morning we all went bowling for uncle's birthday; it was trevor's first time actually bowling and we all had a blast! grandpa neil came and visited towards the end of our hour of bowling. then we went to a big Chinese buffet that uncle chose for his birthday meal for lunch. Al wasn't feeling well by that point and he sat in the car while we ate and he was cold (that's when you know he's actually sick). trevor was tired and not feeling great, as was I (and my hips were really sore after bowling). so after lunch we packed up quick and I drove home while Al slept the whole way and trevor fell asleep about 15 minutes before we got home. I was able to put him in bed and he slept for 2 hours; Al went to bed too and slept until 6pm. we just watched a movie and played a little that night.

sunday morning T and I felt better, and once Al was up he was feeling a bit better but still not great so he called in sick to work. I did the dishes, laundry and T and I made chocolate covered pretzels and rolo pretzel cookie things. we played some playdoh, went downstairs to clean/play, then went outside for a bit since it was 45 degrees outside (and going to be highs in the 20s this week). then in for lunch and "to watch the Vikings" according to Trevor!!!! although Wisconsin didn't play the vikes game so we watched the packers while trevor napped.

Monday trevor was off and on feeling good and "I don't feel so good" so we didn't do much. it rained and was close to 60 degrees then once it got dark, it got windy, turned to snow and went down to below 20 degrees.

I feel like my belly is so big but then I look at this picture and it doesn't look all that big. I've got the heartburn lots still just like I did with Trevor. got a rock n play and some cheap diapers this week for baby girl. I finally pulled out my maternity clothes and I don't know why I waited so long, i'm so much more comfortable in maternity clothes! and I have shirts that are actually long enough!

2017 :: 47/52

we had a busy week! Monday and Tuesday trevor and I got stuff done around the house including starting decorating for Christmas. Trevor gets my old, little tree in his room this year so he decorated that with my grama's tiny ornaments. He also wrote his first word just from sight, 'turkey' and they turned out so cute! I have been slacking on crafts.

Wednesday morning mom came down. so we played, did some crafts, and I got some things done around the house.

Al had off Thursday-Saturday this week. so Thursday morning Al, mom, Trevor and I hopped in mom's vehicle (since she has 2 working headlights) and drove to Wausau for thanksgiving at grandpa peter's house. it was us, grandpa peter, auntie molly, auntie althea, her fiancé Tad and his 3 boys, Matt, Bladen, and Liam (who is like 2 weeks older than trevor). we watched the Vikings game, had our thanksgiving lunch, played outside for a bit since it was pretty nice out, and hung out. Althea and her boys left, then Trevor played with grandpa peter, auntie molly and nana for a bit. we left about 4ish and T slept the whole way home.

Friday was beautiful outside! my brother came down for the day and we spent most of the morning outside getting things done and had a bonfire & roasted marshmallows. uncle brought Trevor new legos and some nerf guns so T played with those for about 3 days straight. :) at nap time, uncle and trevor napped while mom and I went shopping. we just went to the shed and to blain's farm and fleet, but we got some good deals and some Christmas presents out of the way. we had another turkey meal for supper so that we could have leftovers. :) uncle left shortly after supper and we watched a movie.

Saturday morning, nana left after Trevor woke up, I packed us and made my dip, and then the 3 of us loaded into our vehicle and drove to maren's house in Burnsville for lefse making day. trevor got to play with his cousins Tula and Ruby and baby Etta. after the kids had lunch we threw in a movie for them and started making lefse. we hung out for a bit once the lefse was done then we headed back home to ec about 6ish. once home it was bedtime for all of us; we were exhausted.

sunday morning I got lots done including a complete overhaul of the toys in the living room (putting lots away to make room for the Christmas tree and décor) and Al & Trevor played legos, guns, colored, and some games. Al had to work at 3. During nap, I got the Christmas tree up.

Monday the weather was beautiful! it got up to 60 degrees! in the morning Trevor and I played until Al got up then after a little time with him, T and I walked to the church playground by our house. actually Trevor biked and I walked; we played for a bit then came home for lunch. Trevor didn't end up napping so I got him out of bed at 330 to we could play outside again before it got dark. we played Frisbee in our backyard. Al had to work at 7p and trevor went to bed at 730 due to no nap.

forgot to take a belly pic this week due to thanksgiving, but I have heartburn every day, usually at nighttime, just like I did with Trevor.
